PARTICIPANT ~ A Word in Revelation

PARTICIPANT ~ A Word in Revelation

We Breathe, We are a PARTICIPANT… feel, love, know, BE ~ Birth Eternal… to…

Passion Ascension Revelation Truth Inspiration Creation I AM Peace Awareness Nurture Trust

These words rise as a spiral of becoming — each a movement of Spirit, each a gesture of consciousness, each a call to the Eternal within the Self.

How Each Stage Appears in Daily Life

Passion The call that warms the heart and calls forth purpose.

Ascension The rise of perception that brings clarity and expansion.

Revelation The unveiling that illuminates what has always been present.

Truth The resonance of authenticity, the alignment of being.

Inspiration The breath of Spirit guiding thought, feeling, and creation.

Creation The shaping of intention into form, the artistry of daily life.

I AM The center of presence, the still point of pure Being.

Peace The harmony that steadies the heart and calms the mind.

Awareness The light behind perception, the spaciousness of understanding.

Nurture The devotion to growth, the gentle tending of body, mind, and spirit.

Trust The openness to life’s unfolding, the confidence in the wisdom of the path.

Each stage appears as a living invitation — a call to participate, a call to perceive, a call to breathe with intention.

The Artistry of Participation

These explorations, these considerations, these revelations set the tones by which we become PARTICIPANTS.

It is the calling of the WORD, the steps of the DANCE, the brush strokes upon a CANVAS, the hand of the sculptor unveiling form, creating STRUCTURE —BEAUTY Inspired Spirit in expression.

The BEAUTY, the TRUTH of GOD, of SELF — each a PARTICIPANT, each a sacred prod.

Our Evolution is our Participation. As we live, as we perceive, as we breathe, we give expression to what is — to the presence that calls us, to the grace that moves us, to the eternal that holds us.

The Fivefold Affirmation

PRAISE is the accord. GLORY is the light. TRUTH is the supernal. BEAUTY is the grace. ETERNAL is the presence.

These are the pillars of the living Self, the harmonies of Spirit in expression, the revelations that guide the heart.

GOD and SELF in Praise and Glory

GOD and SELF stand in radiant unity — each recognizing the other, each revealing the other, each expressing the other.

Words lived, words revealed, words calling to TRUTH, to BEAUTY, to the ETERNAL.

BE THIS KNOWN

…by the ONE so named

....by the ONE so named

A stillness, a calm, the air chilled and awakening it be
Trees, branches, and bough, gifts from the grace of thee
This celestial gift before me in benediction I to receive
The wondrous by the Creator in glory to conceive
A silence in this motionless moment of BEING divine
Such be the savor of the morning light, this the gift of time
This season of winter to embrace my blessed abode
Each day, each moment, there be a story to be told
Sweet be the song of wind upon the melodious chime
The gifts of barren trees, light, shadow and wintertime
The All becomes known in each breath proclaimed
The GLORY, the GRACE, the LIGHT,
by the ONE so named.

Birth ~ Death... and so it is asked... what be the purpose ... and so in reflective dialogue...

What BE
what be the purpose of words to share
but to know of one's heart expressing care
what be the purpose of banner and praise
but to bring celebration to our gift of days
what be the purpose to guide and teach
but to know that beauty and truth are within our reach
what be the purpose to know of time, space and measure
but to account for life's perceived treasure
what be the purpose to know of vistas so very far
but to know that we too hold the light of a star
what be the purpose to know of history and time's story
but to understand the ever present quest for power and glory
what be the purpose of drama and stage
but to act out the calling of soul, time and age
what be the purpose of music, dance and a song to sing
but to know the pulsing our hearts do bring
what be the purpose to draw, paint, sculpt, to hold a vision divine
but to revere and mark in splendor a life yours, a life mine
what be the purpose of holding accord of word and deed
but to live the honor of our days as a blessed creed
what be the purpose of each passing day
but to live in grandeur the blessings of THE WAY.

Live I

 Live I

live I with roots and wings
be they of visions
in purposes defined
in dreams yet dreamed
be I the anchor
be I the sail
a pause, a breath, a BEING.

and so... we sail

we greet the rising and setting SUN
the way of waters becomes known
the calm, the fury, the gentle
the thunderous cresting waves
the ebb and flow
and our glory, our blessed glory
resounds in the pulsing of our hearts.

In Response to HONOR ~ In Poet's Hand

In response to HONOR
A Proclamation bestowed upon
Rose Marie Raccioppi
Poet Laureate, Orangetown, New York.

... and so...

In Poet's Hand

and here this pen in poet's hand
with word and faith in command
a smile, a gesture, the warming sun
a creed, a mission, a task now done
'tis not what I alone to answer nor unfold
the pleas of need be too, your story told
all awakens for the vision yet held
purpose and right intention in glory meld
a thought, a quest, with yearning real
passion and desire beyond conceal
the touch of grace, ever spirit's claim
within heart, the calling of GOD's name
and here this pen in poet's hand
with word and faith in command.

It has been said...

"Throughout the ages, the language of poetry has held a special power to lend us courage, to give us the vision of those who endured and to hazard ourselves boldly in the world we inhabit. The insights and imagery of poetry can take us beyond any small perimeter we have made for ourselves. Once we establish ourselves at this conversational frontier, we find ourselves living amidst revelation, the recipients of visible and invisible help we could not previously recognize."

Outside My Window

a canvas to behold
nature in artistry divine
the white of the sky
illumed by the brilliance
of the sun's light
this so magically cast
upon the white blossoms
of the dogwood tree
as the glistening leaves
of the lithe bamboo
hold to tones of green
in reflective splendor
this outside my window
a gallery of glory.

the window open
hear I the serenade
songbirds near and far
feel I the warming sun
my words, echoes
of a heart touched
by nature's canvas
alchemic strokes of light
this hour beheld.

WHAT

and what does a poet do
to make her soul known to you
her words held within time and deed
be this her love and sacred creed
melodies majestic she in silence sings
in honor of what each breath does bring
a moment to savor be it the NOW
with pen and paper she fulfills a vow
to take reflection and its known call
heed well the Glory, the Presence, the All.

Moment of FREEDOM... and so proclaimed anew July 5, 2020

Moment of FREEDOM
The shedding of shackles and confine
This quest of spirit and mind
The moment of birthing freedom sought
Beyond the illusion suppression has taught
The reach to the God within
To vanquish each false sin
With brush and paint I to proclaim
This Moment of Freedom in Truth's name
Peaks and flames of passion and desire
The light and glory of Spirit's known fire.

...by the O N E

A stillness, a calm, the air chilled and awakening it be
Trees, branches, and bough, reaching to the light before me

Sky of lambent blue so brilliantly clear, supernal indeed
This celestial gift before me in benediction I to receive

Such be the savor of the morning light, this the gift of time

This season of winter to embrace my blessed abode
Each day, each moment, there be a story to be told

When SPRING bears its gift

When SPRING bears its gift, a sweet sigh

Blessings of Creation, rooted, in bloom set free
So too, each life on its destined journey

Through each season of change

Sing in PRAISE and GLORY
For within our hearts, within our souls, a sacred story.

To the winds they dance...

Imagine the delight
if we were to be in spontaneous expression
of the words of heart felt lovingly
moment to moment
we would be as the flowers
To the winds they dance
to the light they praise
to the sun they bloom
holding to the glory and beauty
of the ever present NOW.

An October Moment

the gentle chill of early fall
the touch of orange and crimson
leaves rustle whispers to the soft wind
the yet green grass lush and sweetly fragrant
the bloom of flowers in gem tones
yellow sapphire, red garnet, orange carnelian
in the near distance sculptures of angels
herald they their song of praise
cascading vines embrace the weathered wood fence
waters sounding as they fall to the pond
to the delight of the swimming koi
a walk to the garden
holding to the magic of fairy tales and stories of wonder
an interlude as the sunset hour is soon to be
an October moment reminds us of the summer that was
and the fall in all its presence of glory
in all its presence of glory.

The Burning Paper

"And all shall be well and.. All manner of thing shall be well..
When the tongues of flame are in-folded..
Into the crowned knot of fire..
And the fire and the rose are one.” ~ T.S. Eliot

The body calling to its soul
A recounting, a recording
Words upon paper
And so delivered
Be the din of despair
The lament of betrayal
The echoing haunts of pain
Hushed they be
By the consuming flames of faith
Burn Burn
The rising light alluringly alchemic
The sense of SELF newly embraced
This the Phoenix of BEING
Glory Glory hails the soul
The deep breath newly NOW
The deep breath newly NOW.

Cloak of Dawn... Threads of Time...

Threads of time, experiences, thoughts, visions, within the moment,
within each season of change... ever the Cloak of Dawn...

we gave a cry and all rejoiced for this our birth complete
we are our first
 steps greeted with open arms
our first word that brought an admiring smile...

trace the years and their memories await anew
a montage, a kaleidoscope, of one's life view
sounds, impressions, of place time and moments sweet
where our dreams and our days come to meet
praise, punishment, joy and pain come to define
a life known as rightly yours, a life lived as mine
and what brings reason to pause this very day
but the wondrous Creation given by Life along its way
decades of moons have brought mystery and delight
magical be this waxing and waning of Creation's light
and so this heart, this soul, in time's grasp and claim
be held in the spirit and glory of our Creator's name
be it of yesterdays or days yet, and dreams enfold
each new gaze, a breath, a sigh, be this our story told
with threads of time cloak of dawn we weave
be it the warp and weft of Divinity conceived.

Awakened

day's awakening
eternal sunrise of soul
rejoice in glory.

gone the echoes and laments of days past
anew BE this mind, this heart, within soul cast
a child of the universe and Creation's grace
ever evolving within the depths of soul's place
confront and resolve be the calling command
within this faith held is libation's hand
nature's knowing and guidance true
life in new splendor brought on to you
shackled no more for I am free as the wind
silent no more for I am the thunderous storm
despairing no more for I am the dawning day
thirsty no more for I am lakes and rivers clear
lost no more for I am each guiding star
confined no more for I am vistas wide and far
hungry no more for I am bounty and harvest divine
this the awakened faith mine
the awakened
the awakened
the awakened faith mine.

...through the night... The Quest of Light

The enfold of silence and sweet slumber greet
Where dreams and awakenings ever to meet
The vistas traveled all near all far
To galaxies and a distant star
Spirit in flight across the sky
In the firmament above, above so high
Known be the glory, the quest of light
The pursuit of Spirit through the night.

This Hour of Sunset

No earrings, bracelets, necklaces or rings need she bear
Yet fully adorned and crowned in God’s loving care
Free of shackles and constraint of body and soul
Within all treasures and a found goal
She honors life in all its glory
Each moment now a complete story
And when she records with pen a line
Awakened and felt is the sublime
Who pray tell is she
She is the I introduced to the me
And in this moment of quiet reflection
She sees all of nature in full perfection
The warmth of the summer setting sun her hand does feel
And what is so distant is now and real
No greater or lesser can this Presence be
The I known here, now, in this moment to me
The deep breath of Being in great abound
In this hour of sunset the I has found.
