The Burning Paper

"And all shall be well and.. All manner of thing shall be well..
When the tongues of flame are in-folded..
Into the crowned knot of fire..
And the fire and the rose are one.” ~ T.S. Eliot

The body calling to its soul
A recounting, a recording
Words upon paper
And so delivered
Be the din of despair
The lament of betrayal
The echoing haunts of pain
Hushed they be
By the consuming flames of faith
Burn Burn
The rising light alluringly alchemic
The sense of SELF newly embraced
This the Phoenix of BEING
Glory Glory hails the soul
The deep breath newly NOW
The deep breath newly NOW.

Light Behind The Storm

The ears deafened by the din of despair
The eyes blinded by the glare of illusion
The heart ravaged by the pain of betrayal
The soul hidden within the shattered self
Waves of destruction crest a sea of confusion
Life’s shores besieged by fear
Spirit summoned in the wake of the storm
Behold its calm resolve
The winds of change can now be heard
The distant shores now seen in the grace of the rising sun
The celestial sea bears the light behind the storm
Rhythmic this heart with the cadence of the ocean and celestial tide
Undaunted now by the resounding ebb and flow and clouds of dark
And the constant winds of change
Behold its calm resolve
Behold its calm resolve.

What Be

what be my thinking this day

what perceptions will mark the way
what memories shall I behold
what story shall there be told
will this day be its glory new
will it be shadowed by doubts held true
dispel the veils of doubt and fear
dispel illusions of loss, pain and tear
know that all in its own destined way
brings meaning and purpose to our day
beyond all hurt, betrayal and demise
is the seeking and the word of the wise
the waxing and waning to prevail
the splendor of light shall ever we hail
know with faith and an abiding grace
that within our heart destiny has its place
it shall be ours ever to have and to hold
this THE WORD be it with love ever told.
