The X Factor...

First Known Use of X FACTOR ~ 1930

Definition of X FACTOR:

a circumstance, quality, or person
that has a strong but unpredictable influence.

I have put forth the ABC's of PRAISE. Each letter offers an affirming word. The letter X bore no word. As I reflected on this omission I came to fully appreciate defining its meaning as the X factor...
the crossroad
the intersection
the interchange
the exchange
this the X factor

the target
the focus
the center
the claim
this the X factor

the vision
the risking
the quest
the discovery
this the X factor

the planning
the practice
the perfection
the performance
this the X factor

the outer possibility
the inner knowing
the doing and the having
this the X factor

the juncture
the interface
the confront
the resolve
this the X factor

you the transformation
you the soaring spirit
you the eternal being
you the SELF crowned to BE
the word, the light, the PRESENCE.

A Visit to Aunt Rose

Thank You dear friends for all the prayers and loving intentions
you have brought forth...
heart surgery complete, full recovery envisioned, and so...

A Visit to Aunt Rose

The calm
The pause
The gratitude
Life holding to itself
The willing responsiveness
The heart in a journey new
Cleansed of its obstruction
Cleared of binding fear
Burdens lifted
The quietude of grace
The joy of breath
This pulsing a rapture sacred
This the benediction
A visit to Aunt Rose.

Rose Marie

To see and feel the beauty of so deep a reverence
for the renewed gift of life after heart surgery,
is to witness LIFE embracing itself.
Indeed a most blessed visit.

Ludwig van Beethoven
Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op.36.

The piano keys in sounding response
Echoes of the passions and pulsing of heart
Cresting waves of thunderous light call
Know this breath that breathes the lament and yearnings of soul
This ever mounting, embracing, encompassing pulse
Hear I colors and strokes bold
Hear I colors and strokes of gentle grace
Live I a canvas that sounds passion and plea
Sensibilities and touched is the deep knowing within me
I AM the torrential rains and the morning dew on flowers sweet
I AM the burning desire and the quietude of the midnight hour
I AM the ambient sounding of passions deep within my BEING
Echoes, echoes, echoes, of a breath's call
Hear I the interlude, that interface between receiving and giving
Frolic and fury in sounding expression
Feel I this dance beyond composure
An Awakening
A Liberation
A BEING in the breath of this sounding moment.

Ludwig van Beethoven
Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major, Op.55 "Eroica."

The engagement
The invitation
To the inner chambers of a sounding accord
Ascension to heights beyond the Earth's plane
Celestial winds and soaring wings in breath's refrain
Each piano key to speak the ever mounting quest of BEING
Hear I the black symbols upon the pristine page that beckons
Sound, sound, sound
Yes, a celebratory engagement
Sound BE this breath of soul's splendor
Heed I passion's petition for a sounding TRUTH
BE I known by these dedications divine
A splendor that sweeps
Sadness now in sounding resolve
Measures of silence
Measures of BEING
This crescendo of Creation made known
Shed I the cloak of despair and don the royal robes of resolve
Each note in revelation, in heart's chambers heard
The music, the music, the music, resounding breath of BEING.

The Night

The night begets the dawning
The dawning begets the rising sun
A moment of divinity when dark and light are ONE.

Passions Bold ~ Frames of Mind ~ Opus 6

Tones, textures, treasure of time
Passions bold, lyrical and gracefully divine
Sounding brush strokes of the perceived
Color, form, in expressions conceived
Drama, musical portraits in soulful splendor
To the artistry of ALL in sweet surrender
Breath, heart and light, this beckoning to heed
The music, colors pulsing, 'tis the Creator's creed
Hear I the canvas in tones of passion and reflection
Touching all sensibilities in sounding perfection.

The News is reported ... a loss ... and a plea is heard...

Grant not power to these demons of dark
Hush hush their haunts erase their mark
Be free of judgments and reprisals cruel
Truth and Spirit of Self in light anew to rule
Addict me not to a false quieting of the pain I feel
Make the liberation from a shadowed self a beauty real
Mask not these agonies of the abiding soul
No longer allow deception to demand a toll
Pay not the price of life relegated to sorrow
Live the promise held within each tomorrow
Depression be not a donned cloak of despair
Hold the Faith yet borne of God's loving care
The gift of life and power of will in your story be  told
Hail each breath,  the cleansing, 'tis the alchemist's gold.

And so let us all be open to hear the "words and ideas"
that we are yet to reveal to ourselves for the deepest of liberation.

His life in GLORY shared
In his way of splendor was his care
Selfless giving and loving PRAISE
This be the gift of his knowing ways

A smile remains in heart
From his memory I shall not depart.

PEACE dear Robin.

Hold Sweet the Ravages of Time

Betray not this body of mine
Hold sweet the ravages of time
As too, a diamond deep within the earth's embrace
The brilliance of light within this heart to place
Heed well the call of soul's desire
Jewels of passion's beckoning fire
Facets cut in reflections be they of time
Chambers of light held within this heart mine
In adornment be held the grace of light ever dear
And banished be the pain and the shadows of fear
The pulsing echoes of this heart be they heard
Revelations of light within THE WORD
Spirit's expression in this body beyond conceal
The ALL of light in TRUTH and PRAISE reveal
Betray not this body of mine
Hold sweet the ravages of time.

Simon & Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence

The Ascension Perceived

Awakened to the silence that surrounds me
To the ambient echoes of the night
The song birds and crickets in choral sounding sweet
I each moon past and this day newly conceived
This the cycle of aeons
This the ascension perceived.

A Night Serenade

Through the open window
In the distance be the train whistle
The rumble of wheels upon track
The thundering airplane directly above
The crickets sing
The silence rests
Gentle winds
Sweet be this summer night
A night serenade
Through the open window.
