...to the light, and words called ...

As I sat at my table, next to a light filled window, the embracing warmth of the sun was gifted onto me...I looked to the light, and words called to my soul...
there is a TRUTH beyond misgivings
there is a TRUTH beyond hurt and pain
there is a TRUTH beyond doubt and fear
there is a knowing, a PRESENCE Divine
a petition in prayerful grace, the very call to SELF
the call to Spirit, to Eternity, to Love, to Faith
and so we PRAY... be this

                   our Passion,
                        our Revelation,
                             our Ascension,
                                  our Yielding
                                       to the blessings
to the light of our LORD,
                                                the ANOINTED ONE.
                                                                                AMEN

A Memorial Day Service ~ Sunday, May 24, 2015

The sky an azure blue, the sun ever so brilliant, the American and POW Flags touched by the gentle wind. This the setting at the Walkway of American Heroes, Tappan, New York, Memorial Day 2015.  As I saw all those in honorable uniform, holding yet to service and vision, and heard the tributes, the gestures silently spoke of love of country, of love of GOD. And so it is...

A salute, hand to brow, a vision of freedom ever to share

A pledge, hand to heart, a knowing of sacrifices and care

A prayer, hand to hand in loving grace

Gestures they be, the knowing of God's embrace.

A Visit to Aunt Rose

Thank You dear friends for all the prayers and loving intentions
you have brought forth...
heart surgery complete, full recovery envisioned, and so...

A Visit to Aunt Rose

The calm
The pause
The gratitude
Life holding to itself
The willing responsiveness
The heart in a journey new
Cleansed of its obstruction
Cleared of binding fear
Burdens lifted
The quietude of grace
The joy of breath
This pulsing a rapture sacred
This the benediction
PRESENCE known
A visit to Aunt Rose.

Rose Marie

To see and feel the beauty of so deep a reverence
for the renewed gift of life after heart surgery,
is to witness LIFE embracing itself.
Indeed a most blessed visit.

One Earth Be It Healed

How absolutely unbelievable is this devastation of our waters. And Yes, let us embrace faith in its entirety... As more is told of the Gulf Waters... let us reach out beyond despair... and so......

One Earth be it Healed

Pray I for YOUR knowing command
To guide each caring, helping hand
Pray I for YOUR loving grace.
Blessings upon ravaged waters shall YOU place.

Deployment to Iraq

David James

I know but his name
I asked and was told David James
A young husband and father I did hear
I chose to send love and abandon all fear
My prayers for David James this very day
To bring safe keeping all his way
And in my heart I to hold
A vision of safe return ever told.

Flowering Stars

Flowering stars and depths of gold
Within your petals a prayer to unfold
Your soft silken touch and gentle feel
Delicate splendor in this moment real
Hold I your quiet bearing in heart
From beauty's call I shan't depart.
