Let us be the troubadours of divine deliverance...the WORD of GOD ~ Counsel of Old

To all who visit...

Let us be among those who have chosen to celebrate the ultimate beauty of bonding across differences, across the false separation of humankind, the animal kingdom, and the grace of Nature. We are to hold to a consciousness that brings us to be ONE in love and glory. ONE with the knowing of GOD. Let us bond in gratitude with the waters, the vegetation, the growing life upon Earth that provides food, shelter, clothing. Let us honor and protect the air we breathe, the Earth we walk, the vast vistas of the firmament, and the TRUTH we behold in heart, in soul, in light, in breath, in BEING.

Let us pray, let us act, let us be the troubadours of divine deliverance...the WORD of GOD.

Counsel of Old

The poet and the bard with word and song did convey
To kings and rulers the heartfelt messages of the day
Counsel given in rhyme, gestures telling they be
To alert the kingdom of tales from across the sea
Jesters and jokers with wit would wisely advise
To be aware of those that mask and veil deceit and lies
Be it well that such wisdom of counsel shall be heard
For from their knowing hearts came echoes of THE WORD
Visions to be shared and truth ever to be sought
These the trappings that bards and jesters have brought
Be well advised that this counsel of old
Has a present day story yet to be told
Those with deliberate agendas of deception and demise
Seek not the counsel of the poetic nor of the wise
The artistry of THE WORD in its truth shall ever prevail
For it is beauty and truth that the noble and wise rightly hail
A poet of modern times in rhyme I choose to pen the word
May your counsel of heart too, be known and ever heard.

Poetry in expressive awakenings, painting in felt awakenings, and so self BE known in its supernal quest... What Be...

What Be

what be my thinking this day
what perceptions will mark the way
what memories shall I behold
what story shall there be told
will this day be its glory new
will it be shadowed by doubts held true
dispel the veils of doubt and fear
dispel illusions of loss, pain and tear
know that all in its own destined way
brings meaning and purpose to our day
beyond all hurt, betrayal and demise
is the seeking and the word of the wise
the waxing and waning to prevail
the splendor of light shall ever we hail
know with faith and an abiding grace
that within our heart destiny has its place
it shall be ours ever to have and to hold
this THE WORD with love and shadows cast gold.

BE it...

the silent the silent knowing of THE WORD
the music the music ever be heard
be it the pulsing of heart
from which life bears its start
be it the lilting notes of a songbird sweet
such ambient delight upon soul to greet
be it the feeling warmth of the sun upon a reaching hand
the gentle touch of light in Godcommand
be it the whisper of the wind  upon leaf, tree, and bough
and heard be the grace, the love, of a soulful vow
be it this moment with a sigh, a pause, a respite known
the glory, the chorus of grace, in light shown
and to our hearts with kindness dear
a day, an hour, a moment in faith ever near
be we to rejoice, to proclaim
the splendor, the love, the blessings within Gods name.

the heart, the rose...

the heart, the rose its calling heard
within its chambers, its petals, echoes, echoes, of THE WORD
listen I do, grace, beauty, and faith, its call ever sweet
the giving, the receiving, each breath a flower to meet
beyond all perceived pain, loss and fear
is the call to life and beauty with blessings dear
heed its wisdom and the beauty of its eternal quest
TRUTH, LOVE, PASSION, life's blessed behest
the heart, the rose its calling heard
within its chambers, its petals, echoes, echoes, of THE WORD.

M I T I G A T E ...

And when a therapist is an artist, and also a poet...
healing, and the artistry of the WORD
call to heart...

M I T I G A T E… mitigate (mitəˌgāt)
verb
•make less severe, serious, or painful
• lessen the gravity of (an offense or mistake)

ORIGIN late Middle English: from Latin mitigat- ‘softened, alleviated,’ from the verb mitigare, from mitis ‘mild.’

And what is called upon? What sounding does this word MITIGATE define? I listened to the student. Pain was real. The desire for change was real. How to mitigate was the question. How is one to ease the feelings brought about by trauma? I looked to each letter of the word for its revealed message. And behold, to MITIGATE … to live beyond the lies of oppression, to awaken to one’s own destiny free of the limiting judgment of others… to BE the comfort of SELF… to know anew...

the Majesty
the I AM
the Truth
the Inspiration
the Glory
the Ascension
the Treasures
the Eternal … within each Breath of BEING…

… knowing how to receive, how to let go, how to give onto SELF.

Each word in revelation brought forward experiences, emotions, realizations. At the close of the session, the affirming power of the word, and its defined calling to the listening soul, brought to heart a release, a liberation, a newly embraced ease, and an awakened vision of change.

YES, behold the power of the WORD.

Quest of Poets

Quest of Poets
The poet in passion
The poet in grace
The calling of the Muse
Heard within heart’s place
The word BE it a calling divine
In resounding silence the pulse of time
From lives lived this soul does speak
The word, the word, in wisdom sweet
The Wondrous, the Omnipresent, the Revelation, the Divine
The quest, the quest of poets within heart mine.

The Poet's Tidings
Each hour, each day, each year now past
A journey, a questing, a destiny cast
Awaken awaken to the vision yet held
Destiny and purpose in glory meld
The sounding heart with yearning real
Reverie and passion beyond conceal
The Muse calls to sound its claim
Beauty and Truth the poet to name
A blessed grace be it known, be it heard
'Tis the poet's tidings in heartfelt word.

The Rose ~ Beauty, Truth, in its own reflection...

The Rose
Beauty, Truth, in its own reflection...

Its bloom in beauty ever to be
roots, stem, thorns, petals, as ONE in grace I see
Its  truth of reflection I to behold
'tis the WORD in rapture by Creation told.

The Heart Speaks

the heart speaks in divine rhythm
a knowing spirit pulsates
discerning be its TRUTH
its reach beyond the heavens
its grasp beyond the mountains
its flight to vistas and galaxies afar
guided by LOVE and rapture's call
the heart, the heart, its resounding heard
within its chambers, echoes, echoes, of THE WORD
listen I do, grace and faith, its refrain ever sweet
the giving, the receiving, each breath to meet
beyond the perceived pain, loss and fear
is the heart's call to life with blessings dear
heed its wisdom and its eternal quest
TRUTH, LOVE, PASSION, life's blessed behest.

I, In FAITH... from Passion's Fire

Conspiracy, corruption and travail
Beyond aberration THE WORD to prevail
Just as the night pursues the light of day
So too, ever present be the path, THE WAY
Illusions cast as truths to be revealed
THE WORD to cast light on deceptions concealed
And known to us be our soul's desire
The PHOENIX to rise from passion's fire
From the depths of our knowing heart
TRUTH, LOVE, PEACE, MERCY, BEAUTY, shan't depart
This I in FAITH claim to be true
This the GRACE OF GOD on to You.

...this day... Genesis

Genesis

What be my thinking this day
What perceptions will mark the way
What memories shall I behold
What story shall there be told
Will this day be its glory new
Will it be shadowed by doubts held true
Dispel the veils of doubt and fear
Banish illusions of loss, pain and tear
Know that all in its own destined way
Brings meaning and purpose to our day
Beyond all hurt, betrayal and demise
Is the seeking and the word of the wise
The waxing and waning to prevail
The splendor of light shall ever we hail
Know with faith and an abiding grace
That within our heart destiny has its place
Genesis shall be ours ever to have and to hold
This THE WORD be it with love ever told.

How Does...

How does a poet, an artist, process the news that speaks to corruption, deception, maligning controls and abusive encounters? It hears the plea of TRUTH beyond the lies, it sees the HUMANITY beyond the exploitation, it lives the knowing, the FAITH,  the VISION,  beyond the oppression. It feels the QUAKE and STORM that ever calls to the LIGHT, it lives THE WORD anew.

...with word in heart.....with palette in hand...

Quake and Storm

the line be it beauty perceived
the light be it TRUTH revealed
the shadow be it time cast
the color be it passion known
the stirring, the quest, the resolve
quake and storm
'tis the artist's way.

In the Quietude of the Day's Dawning...

In the Quietude of the Day's Dawning...

Embraced by the stillness, held by the silence
Within the stillness the breath be heard
Within the silence be THE WORD
The SELF in stillness, revelations be known

The SELF in silence, THE WAY be shown.

Ascension

Ascension

demanding be the many tasks at hand
a perception, a plan, action in command
intention and focus be the call of the day
the gift of time and a knowing provide the way
how sweet when vision is newly held clear
when the din of despair is silenced and gone the fear
how comforting is this moment's embrace
when within heart, love the soul does place
how knowing is an ascension's call
when resounding with the grace of ALL
and as I cast my sight to the lambent sky
feel I the beauty of the moving firmament on high
the lithe bamboo touched by the gentle winds that blow
breath, faith, 'tis all that I need now know
the day by Nature's plan does unfold
and I to be led by THE WORD ever told.
