This Night Crimson

The light brilliant above the trees
The air is gently cool and still
Each branch, each leaf before me motionless
The light of this day quickens to its rest

Laced in brilliant strokes of crimson
This day bids its close
The sound of crickets in blissful serenade
Feel I the caress of the coming of night
Skyward I am bound
In the embrace of Presence
In this night crimson.

...this day... Genesis

Genesis

What be my thinking this day
What perceptions will mark the way
What memories shall I behold
What story shall there be told
Will this day be its glory new
Will it be shadowed by doubts held true
Dispel the veils of doubt and fear
Banish illusions of loss, pain and tear
Know that all in its own destined way
Brings meaning and purpose to our day
Beyond all hurt, betrayal and demise
Is the seeking and the word of the wise
The waxing and waning to prevail
The splendor of light shall ever we hail
Know with faith and an abiding grace
That within our heart destiny has its place
Genesis shall be ours ever to have and to hold
This THE WORD be it with love ever told.

Blue... a chair...

Blue... a chair...

Colors in splendor for all to see
The setting sun casts its light upon me
In solitude here upon mighty rocks divine
I, Blue, embraced by this moment sublime
Wondrous be this glory of sun's parting way
Here I, in the Presence of this hour, this day.

...such beauty captured by Alison Perry... Blue, a chair... and so a poetic response...
