Our SOUL to greet...

The ROSE, delivers its spirited message in its petals of tenderness and beauty, and its wisdom, in the piercing pain of its thorns. Symbolic and metaphoric be its telling, its commune with soul.

In loving gratitude to Yavaun Swanson
this from the Roselight Garden at Grace Cottage.

Offerings of such beauty and grace
The delight of which holds to heart's place
This ROSE among the blooms of your garden sweet
Where the blessings of Creation, our SOUL to greet.

Upon Awakening...

I, upon awakening greeted with delight
The full bloom of a Rose in the morning light
Magenta beauty in petals luxuriant and bold
And known was a story in silence told
The room alight with resplendent color divine
Such be this sweet sweet awakening mine.

A ROSE yet blooms...

A ROSE yet blooms...

shocking be the news
this ROSE yet blooms
misunderstood be the views
this ROSE yet blooms
deception and deceit
this ROSE yet blooms
pesticides and toxins
this ROSE yet blooms
lawsuits and trials
this ROSE yet blooms
chaos and disasters
this ROSE yet blooms
pain and loss
this ROSE yet blooms
Creation's bounty ours to hail
beyond all illusion
truth and beauty ever to prevail
t'is the way of The Creator to call to soul
the bounty in praise and so paid be the toll.

An added word...

And there it is... the beauty, the delicate touch, and too, the thorns... one is to be respectful of what it is they choose to hold to... be it a trauma, an experience, that can rip through the core of our BEING. Go gentle with SELF... awaken to the beauty and the sacred call of consciousness that dwells deep for our awareness, our reflection, our resolve, our release from that which yet pierces through our pretense. This the way of the WINNING WARRIOR... the APOGEE Acu-Tone™ Paradigm.

Ever with love,

Petals...

petals, embers of the rose
cast they be upon waters of the sea
their alluring fragrance flowing sweet

be they the nectar of the soulful heart
from which memory shall not depart

each yet holds to blush and bloom
each from a vine of timeless creation
thorns tempered piercing no more

petals of what was and shall ever be
carried by the waters, the waters of the sea.

The Fire The Rose

 The Fire The Rose

The fire of passion, bud, bloom and thorn they be
So too, the cresting ecstasy of ocean and sea
A rapture of being and enchantment divine
Upon this soul, ever yours, ever mine
What longing lore of love do your petals enfold
Your sweet seductive fragrance I to behold
Bloom in rapture and radiant red array
The kiss of waters upon your petals lay.

the heart, the rose...

the heart, the rose its calling heard
within its chambers, its petals, echoes, echoes, of THE WORD
listen I do, grace, beauty, and faith, its call ever sweet
the giving, the receiving, each breath a flower to meet
beyond all perceived pain, loss and fear
is the call to life and beauty with blessings dear
heed its wisdom and the beauty of its eternal quest
TRUTH, LOVE, PASSION, life's blessed behest
the heart, the rose its calling heard
within its chambers, its petals, echoes, echoes, of THE WORD.

The Petals... The Thorns...I the ROSE...

"And all shall be well and.. All manner of thing shall be well..
When the tongues of flame are in-folded.. Into the crowned knot of fire..
And the fire and the rose are one.” T.S. Eliot

I the Fire, I the Rose

the fire, the petals, the passions of creation
the light of the PRESENCE
brilliant be the towering flames
horrifying be its consuming fury
the rose, the gentle warmth of the glowing fire
the rose, the wrath of its piercing thorn
know I each as one and one as each
I the rose, I the fire
the passion, the pain, the PRAISE.

"The rose, by virtue of its beauty, shape and scent, has become the most commonly used floral symbol in the West. Angelus Silesius took the rose for an image of the soul. Once the insignia of ancient Goddesses, it was revealed to be of cosmic import, a semblance of divine power in its feminine splendour. It is in effect the symbol of the Divine Mother, and thus symbolises the chalice of life and love that is the soul. To gaze at the heart of a rose is to contemplate the truest living mandala. To look on this mystic centre is to be in the presence of holiness. "The rose each ravished sense beguiles", wrote Sappho, who called the rose the Queen of Flowers. A symbol cherished by our ancestors that has been handed down over millennia yet has power to move our spirits."

'Tis Love...

'Tis Love...

An array of flowers each its own blessed story
Blooms of color God's grace in loving glory
A Rose with petals, a velvet caress
A Sunflower holding light and happiness

An Iris with drama and mystery
A Daisy with joyful frivolity
'Tis earth and beauty that lovingly meet
Such delicate splendor and fragrance sweet
A flower within be it of perpetual grace
Within chambers of heart 'tis love to place.

Sweet Summer

The thirst of trees, grass and flowers
Answered by days of Summer showers
Wet leaves and blooms glisten in the sun
So fresh this day with God's work done
The feel of grass now new below my feet
A gentle wind blows with fragrance sweet
Fountain waters in libation flowing free
Heed I to the rippling water, a symphony
A rose in bloom my hand to hold
Sweet Summer musings I enfold.
