Poetry in expressive awakenings, painting in felt awakenings, and so self BE known in its supernal quest... What Be...
What Be
what be my thinking this day
what perceptions will mark the way
what memories shall I behold
what story shall there be told
will this day be its glory new
will it be shadowed by doubts held true
dispel the veils of doubt and fear
dispel illusions of loss, pain and tear
know that all in its own destined way
brings meaning and purpose to our day
beyond all hurt, betrayal and demise
is the seeking and the word of the wise
the waxing and waning to prevail
the splendor of light shall ever we hail
know with faith and an abiding grace
that within our heart destiny has its place
it shall be ours ever to have and to hold
this THE WORD with love and shadows cast gold.

What comes to BE ~ a Birth Eternal
YES… the MUSE makes its presence known. This the moment to hush the clamor, to rise above task and deed, to allow what flows within you to be honored by its expression. Passion, palette and brush unrestrained, words as pulsations of heart… and so "Moment of Freedom" comes to BE - a Birth Eternal.
Moment of FREEDOM
The shedding of shackles and confine
This quest of spirit and mind
The moment of birthing freedom sought
Beyond the illusion suppression has taught
The reach to the God within
To vanquish each false sin
With brush and paint I to proclaim
This Moment of Freedom in Truth's name
Peaks and flames of passion and desire
The light and glory of Spirit's known fire.

Passion's Decree

Strokes of color lyrical and bold
With line and form quest be told
Hold to this moment of need and desire
Portray the knowing, the passion, the fire
Hush not the refrain of glory's plea
Paint, brush, color, heed passion's decree.

With Paint and Brush

The essence, the sense, the impression
The gratitude, the celebration, the expression
A word, a gesture, a knowing glance
A readiness, a preparation, a positioned stance
To listen, to see, to feel, to be the need
And with paint and brush echo a creed
Cast upon the paper pristine and white
The sounds, the touch, the blessed delight.

IS IT

Is it brush in hand and thought in heart
From which this painting has its start
Where comes this call I hear as mine
Word, color and form these gifts of time
Is it the Muse that summons the soul
Beauty be the quest, beauty be the goal
And when in completion a work is to be
Is it the Muse I hear in joyful reverie
Is it Truth that anoints each new day
With the knowing path of the spirit's way
Ever present this reach to do and create
Welcome I Truth, the Muse, Destiny and Fate
God be known in what I receive and give
This be the decree for each moment I live
Is it when faith and knowing jointly resound
That God and the Muse so freely are found
So be it brush or pen in heart, mind or hand
It is to be in the Creator's fullest command.

Heed the Hour

What allows us to endure such pain
How do we survive the bonds of the inane
What absence of what we were and are
Leads us astray and from faith afar
Blinders cast upon our heart and soul
Distant we become from our purpose and goal
Heed the hour present to amend
With the dawning from dark shall we ascend.

A Tribute to the Amasi Trio

Heed Wise The Muse
Heed wise the Muse, your counsel of soul
God’s blessings to mark your goal
Another’s time and glory
And now ‘tis my story
Others have walked in the sun
My time has now just begun
Words of knowing within my heart
From this joy I shall newly start
Another’s creation in celebration
And I God’s eternal revelation
The plea from grace now known
I in gratitude for creation shown
The sculptor’s hand
In God’s command
Line and form to reveal
God’s beauty constant and real
Spectrum of color from a palette divine
Immortal the quest this moment be mine
The artist’s unveiling, the poet’s word
And the music, the music, to be ever heard
Heed wise the Muse, your counsel of soul
God’s blessings to mark your goal.

A New Path So Shall She Lay

And how a mother shows her care
She sees the loss, the pain but does not despair
With faith and the vision of her child set free
She revels in joy for all that be
Acceptance, gratitude, forgiveness to discern
Life’s lessons not always easily learned
With wisdom and knowing deep within her heart
Doubt, fear and sadness readily depart
A new path so shall she lay
For this and the awakening day.
