The Blessed Cry

Pulsing, throbbing, life emergent

Breath onto Breath

The blessed cry

The resounding glory

Marked be the birth of Christopher Angelo

~

He the majestic setting sun of his day

He the dawning of the rising light, the way

He of visions supernal and divine

Blessed be this Son, this Son mine

With hand, heart, and the gifts of light and grace

Blessings of GOD's knowing  within heart so placed

His destiny in fulfillment unfolds anew in each day NOW

Be this the Beauty, the Truth of an ordained, an ordained vow.

Happy Birthday

Ever Constant...

 Ever Constant...

Touched be our pulsing hearts
For the years from which we depart
Yet memories hold ever constant, ever true
For known onto self be the timeless you
Each movement holds to our first step taken
In spirit we are ever embraced, not forsaken
GOD we know sees us as a child beyond time
Ever in birth new in blessings of the divine
Held we are in the womb of creation in PRAISE
Blessed be the way, THE WAY, of our days
The guide for self and the care you give
Is the gift of breath and BEING we come to live
So as you take gently my reaching hand
Feel I the WORD of GOD in loving command
And when the doors open to the heavens above
Know it is the eternal, the eternal womb of love.

Birth ~ Death... and so it is asked... what be the purpose ... and so in reflective dialogue...

What BE
what be the purpose of words to share
but to know of one's heart expressing care
what be the purpose of banner and praise
but to bring celebration to our gift of days
what be the purpose to guide and teach
but to know that beauty and truth are within our reach
what be the purpose to know of time, space and measure
but to account for life's perceived treasure
what be the purpose to know of vistas so very far
but to know that we too hold the light of a star
what be the purpose to know of history and time's story
but to understand the ever present quest for power and glory
what be the purpose of drama and stage
but to act out the calling of soul, time and age
what be the purpose of music, dance and a song to sing
but to know the pulsing our hearts do bring
what be the purpose to draw, paint, sculpt, to hold a vision divine
but to revere and mark in splendor a life yours, a life mine
what be the purpose of holding accord of word and deed
but to live the honor of our days as a blessed creed
what be the purpose of each passing day
but to live in grandeur the blessings of THE WAY.

A Birth ~ Destiny Unfolds...

Touch

a treasure,  be it tender, be it bold
be it magical in a story told
a gentle grasp around fingers mine
a touch that holds memories of time
and now in blessings touched be clay
the hand guided by heart’s way
the touch of truth and beauty as one
this the calling of my blessed son
his birth in devotional grace unfolds
his touch, his vision, each to mold
the fluid beauty of one so delicate and fair
held in clay with soul’s supernal care.

Happy Birthday

On Being A Woman

Holding to the Wonder

Aware of the Omnipresent

Feeling the Marvel

Living the Aspiration

Fulfilling Need

Words to define what it is to be a woman
Come from the special meaning of who we are
With grace we receive and provide the ultimate giving
With love we nurture
With question we pursue
With pain we give birth and revel in its miracle
With persistence we provide
We are blessed to be
The receiver and giver of life.

This Season

light needs darkness
joy knows pain
love knows loss
life greets death
what was newly is
cycles, seasons, birth and rebirth
this season of Spring
the play of BEING to come
this season of Spring
bounty and glory as ONE.

And so it is...

the tear yet falls
the smile yet comes
a loss, a birth
the setting and rising sun

the tear yet falls
the smile yet comes
the thorn, the bloom, petals to unfold
strength, protection, our story be told.

And for your namesake... Vincent You Paint

Tree branches ablaze with almond blossoms of white
Hold they to the joy of Spring in its splendor of light
This blooming array of life new vibrant and so very real
Known be such glory this heart shall not conceal
Delicate and whimsical these blooms of flowers be
Vincent you paint upon canvas and known is Spring's decree.

Blossoming Almond Tree, Oil on canvas, Saint-Rémy, February 1890, Vincent van Gogh, 1853-1890, Rijksmuseum Vincent van Gogh, Amsterdam

On January 31, 1890, Theo wrote to Vincent of the birth of his son, whom he had named Vincent Willem. Van Gogh, who was extremely close to his younger brother, immediately set about making a painting of his favorite subject: blossoming branches against a blue sky. As a symbol of this new life, Vincent chose an almond tree, which blooms early in southern regions, announcing the coming spring as early as February.

Longing

Does that longing set at the start

At that moment the cut given to part
Held in a mother’s womb you be
Then with birth newly free
From lifetimes of pleasure and pain
Life now a newly set game
Yet the need for care and protection to grow
Discount and dismiss what you deeply know
And then I am as others perceive me to be
Lost I somewhere in the shadow of me
The soul sings freedom a welcomed refrain
Then gone the shadow then gone the pain
The longing that had its start
In this moment does depart
And I in freedom and light cease to be
Somewhere lost in the shadow of me
Guided by TRUTH and God's loving care
Stand I free of longing and despair.

Hallowed Sea

Hallowed sea of creation, blessings divine
The ebb and flow of waters and time
Sacred womb within water's enfold
Emergent be life, story be told.
