SPRING... its calling heard... Bloom of Grace

Each word, each assertion, each primordial knowing,
a blessing calling forth TRUTH

Let us breathe as a seed,
knowing the bloom that is to be.
Let us bloom as a flower,
in its glory of its special season.
Let us discern, decide, deliver,
from the consciousness of care and creation.
In the embrace of AGAPE love.
BEAUTY…
be it known as the seed that knows its destiny
be it the bloom that celebrates its revelation
be it the heart that pulsates with grace
be it the sheltering tree
be it the SOUL that is
Spirit
Omnipresence
Unity
Love
this onto self, this onto others
All in the name, the claim, of GOD.

S P I R I T held ...

At this late afternoon hour S P I R I T held ...

in Silence
in Pulse
in Inspiration
in Resolve
in I AM
in TRUTH
... be there Praise and Blessed Peace ...

Bamboo in graceful bow and sway
Holding the sun’s light in brilliant verdant array
In joyous abandon the silence to greet
The chorus of sound as leaf and gentle wind meet
Dancing shadows of supple canes I to behold
Among the lithe and lush leaves touches of gold
Leaves and canes in supple surrender bow
Beauty, strength, gentleness be the bamboo’s vow
'Tis the late afternoon hour of this bight Spring day
The gentle wind, a chime song, birds and canes at play.

LITURGY

Through the winter and into the Spring
Nature and time in its vow does bring
Leaves of green in a winsome array
Fullness in felicity for what shall come our way
The morning dew and rains in libation sweet
The glow and warmth of the rising sun to greet
Within the whispers of the wind secrets be told
The buds, the blooms, in adoration to unfold
A flower to be born, from green its color to reveal
A  destiny of supernal color and beauty beyond conceal
And so herald in the rites of Spring and time
Blooms, the liturgy, in the name of the divine.

First Bloom ~ Spring 2022

"Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems."
Rainier Maria Rilke

And now this very day

First Bloom
Perceived joy in this moment real
A sense of oneness I shall not conceal
The lilting exuberance, the embracing calm
Life in all its blossoming, its abundance, its wondrous charm
This moment barren of loss, fear, regret or sorrow
Holds the promise of BEING, this hour, this day, a tomorrow
Behold this moment that is known, and we now to share
REJOICE in the MAKER, HE, the light and gift of our care.
This spirit, this soul, this life bequeathed to You, to me
Ever was, ever is and ever shall BE
The flowering Rhododendron in its first bloom of grace
The delight of Spring within heart to place
And as I look to the lambent sky of this day
Blessed be all in the embrace of The Path, The Way.

From days of Spring of my early years, to this very moment, there be a supernal joy from a budding flower, a dance known within my very soul of BEING.  Yes, I,  a child born of Spring, of ARIES, of passion, in an ever present pulsing call, moment by moment, and so the artist, the poet, the visionary, breath by breath.

Blooms of the Dogwood Tree

joyful tidings greet the rising sun
the song bird song in glory sung
sweet be the delicate white blooms of the dogwood tree
life in pulsing splendor this day gifted onto me
grass touched by the morning dew glistens in the light
the scamper of squirrels, 'tis Spring's delight
the NOW in PRESENCE divine
this breath of life, 'tis yours, 'tis mine
and what may our destiny in God's light be
the giving, the receiving, the bloom, the living alchemy.

... a forever Spring...

I look to this day of early SPRING... a freshness after the rains, the green of the grass new, the delight of the Forsythia, whose bright yellow flowers bloom before the leaves. Heard are the song bird songs from those perched on the branches of the yet barren Dogwood tree outside my window. A child of ARIES, ever newly awakened by SPRING.
SPRING reminds us that we are to be ever more diligent in our care of SELF... YES, as I have recently celebrated 84 years of age, I have taken fuller responsibility to assure my health, my vitality, my clarity of mind.. simply living according to the calling needs that the intelligence of body brings into awareness. I entertain a 'POETIC' dialogue with BEING... and so live I, Passion, Omnipresence, Evolution, Truth, I AM, Creation, with each breath, with each exchange... the receiving... the giving. Indeed ... 'a forever Spring.'

A Bloom There Be

from branch and bough a bloom there be

beauty to behold from the grace of THEE

petals of pink bear the presence of light

felt is the welcoming warmth of a sun majestically bright

a pause and known be breath divine

the spoils of SPRING, the grace of time

in this moment all becomes known

creation in beauty of bloom to our hearts shown.

Peeking Green ~ 2021

This has been a WINTER to its name here in New York and New Jersey. Today, with yet mounds of snow from the last snowstorm, hints of the SPRING to come are joyfully present. Melting snow, peeking green of blooms, brilliant clear sky, the touch of the warming sun, all within the embrace of quietude and this season's cycle of change... so BE the Glory of Creation.

Peeking Green

The days of March yet young
A bit of time for Winter's season done
Peeking green through melted snow
Winds of winter in gentle whispers yet blow
A sounding serenade through barren branches heard
And the coveted song of a nesting songbird
The crisp leaves of Fall's season yet found
With broken twigs upon this awaiting ground
Driving be the rains upon emergent buds of green
Winter giving over to Spring in this moment seen
Felt is the quiver of ground below my feet
Pulsing be Mother Earth as Spring she greets.

This very day…

In my garden flowers in full bloom
With delight now they grace my dinning room
Such splendor and beauty to behold
This be one of Creation’s story told
Delicate petals of color and light
Gathered in loving praise and pure delight
Lush green leaves in majestic array
So be the gifts of Spring this very day.

When SPRING bears its gift

When SPRING bears its gift, a sweet sigh

Blessings of Creation, rooted, in bloom set free
So too, each life on its destined journey

Through each season of change

Sing in PRAISE and GLORY
For within our hearts, within our souls, a sacred story.

Dogwood Bloom

Sweet be the libation of Spring
Dogwood in its splendor of bloom
Newly touched be this heart, this soul
A deep sigh
Branches and blooms beholden to the warming sun
Petals of sacred grace
Colors of Creation’s palette
Root, branch, bough, leaf and bloom
The pulsing, the pulsing, the pulsing.

Alchemy of Light

Behold this chorus of light
Daffodils in bloom golden bright
Embrace they the warming sun
Creation and Beauty be they one
Delicate petals of color ever so bold
This the Word of Spring be it told
Daffodils at my door in splendor and praise
The alchemy of light of early Spring days.
