At this hour, in Tappan, New York, this first Sunday of April 2022 ~

 

Overcast in white be the sky

Clouds enmasse on up high

Gentle rain upon branch and bough

April in a Sunday new fulfills its vow

Delight I, in yellow blooms anew

Daffodils in joy gift I, onto you.

A Post Script

As I look at this array of daffodils, I have come to focus on the bud that is yet to fully bloom in the center, embraced by all the elders in celebration ... and so we are reminded that it is our beauty, our bounty, that we are too, to gift onto those yet to fully bloom. 

So sweet be the counsel of Nature's Way.

Daffodils to trumpet God's WORD

 

The emergent colors of early Spring ... green of the heart... the pulse of life, yellow of the solar plexus, the warming fires of the sun, the will of the Creator, first blooms of yellow in daffodils of joy ... 

and so we rejoice.

So sweet be the song bird song 

so vibrant be the golden yellow daffodils 

so gentle is the wind at my window 

so bright be the sun that lights the room 

so faithful be this heart 

so prayerful be this soul 

visioning, feeling 

the blessings onto self, onto others

let us this giving day pray 

in gratitude for lives tending lives 

for deliverance, for wellness 

for solace 

for PEACE 

for those who have passed to domains beyond life

Alchemy of Light

Behold this chorus of light
Daffodils in bloom golden bright
Embrace they the warming sun
Creation and Beauty be they one
Delicate petals of color ever so bold
This the Word of Spring be it told 
Daffodils at my door in splendor and praise 
The alchemy of light of early Spring days.

behold this chorus of light
daffodils in bloom golden bright

Yellow and Green ~ Magical

magical is this flow of yellow and green
such be the wondrous glory of young Spring
the bright yellow of daffodils and forsythia
the breath of new green on the willow tree
patches of fresh grass in silent quivers
bulbs with peeking green folds of budding leaves
daylight that lingers longer than its yesterday
morning dew so gentle in its touch
cool temperatures linger yet
the noon day sun warm and welcomed
all has its seasonal plan its charter divine
magical is this flow of yellow and green.
