"The Finer Things of Life," ... gifted onto me ...

A gift, timeless in its commune... WORDS that echo the soul, pulse the heart, WORDS that call to the Wondrous, the Omnipresence, the Revelations, the Divinity, the Spirited. And so this day a gratitude expressed anew for, "The Finer Things of Life," gifted onto me by my son, Christopher Angelo. Pages that unfold, that beckon the SELF to be known.

A gift of a son...
Echoes of Many Voices
Within this very moment
And seven scores past
Echoes of many voices
Upon pages in words cast
Hearts aquiver, souls in quest
Thoughts, perceptions, truth
Love, purpose, to hail our behest.
Longings, reflections, grace and gratitude
Within wisdom's heart be they ever mine
Words of thinkers, lovers, the moods of a day
And the touch of the known Divine.

"Words are things, and a small drop of ink
falling like dew upon a thought
produces that which makes
thousands, perhaps millions, think."

When SPRING bears its gift

When SPRING bears its gift, a sweet sigh

Blessings of Creation, rooted, in bloom set free
So too, each life on its destined journey

Through each season of change

Sing in PRAISE and GLORY
For within our hearts, within our souls, a sacred story.

A Dozen ROSES...

A Dozen ROSES gifted to me...

A dozen Roses in splendor they be
Such beauty of bloom graced onto thee
The majestic in petals of passion's embrace
The beauty, the magic, within heart I place.

Thank You Dear  Esther Dederichs.

And so it is...

In a vase so beautifully they now stand
Such be this gift of the Creator’s hand
Petals in bloom open to the light they be
The passion of a Red Rose beckons one to see
The beauty that unfolds in such resplendent array
Sweet, sweet be the savor of spirit brought our way.

A Cockle Shell… gifted to me …

as I hold this shell in hand
felt are the many moons of time
the creating of waves at high tide
delicate yet firm, fragile yet strong
it speaks the silence and the roar of oceans
it holds the heart in stillness and passion
is this not an artifact of life and love itself
is this not the gift of waters vast and flowing
is this not the Creator’s offering of BEING
yes, whispers my soul… yes…

...Mother's Day... A Gift

A gift of bloom for Mother's Day
With loving care white orchid's array
Petals like angel wings alight
Delicate in their regal splendor white
Such sentient majesty this grace of bloom
The light of stars and a cresting moon
Unfurl be your budding center divine
In florid embrace wings within sublime.

Beyond the call of coins gold
