And if I

And if I a Bee this an oasis
And If I a Butterfly a universe sweet
And if I the Flower joy in the flutter of wings to greet
Beauty and Being in folds of petals divine
Be this the majesty, the bequeath of springtime
The sun, the root, the savor in its beckoning call
The rapturous nectar of anthers to beget all.

Blooms In My Garden

Blooms In My Garden

Such be the beauty of bloom to behold
Petals that grace creations story told
Roots feeding branches in an expressive grace
Splendor of green and magenta within hearts place
Chambers of heart in pulsing passion they be
The quiver, the majesty of bloom blessed from THEE
Emergent glory of Suns prevailing light divine
Savor as does the Bee, the elixirs, the rhapsodies of time.

Two Of My Favorite Things...

Green Frog... a Prince within heart
Butterfly ... with beauty and grace ne'er depart
These are two of my favorite things...

Rose Marie Raccioppi
Poet Laureate
Orangetown, New York

I have a collection of hand carved crystal/gem stone frogs. When 5 years of age, my Godmother read the tale of The Frog Prince.. being told that LOVE expressed and the affection of a kiss transformed the Frog back to the Prince he was meant to be... the Frog became the call for LOVE and TRNSFORMATION... A theme that is ever held in heart with loving JOY.

Too, as a young girl, I was a butterfly in a school play about Spring... yes, in flight was the spirit, beautifully delicate, magically colorful, divinely in deliverance.
My Favorite Things...
Richard Rogers
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites, when the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad.

Spoils of Spring ...

"Sunshine, Ragged Robin blooming and the first Monarch of the year........PRICELESS!! "

~ Rick Bunting

Spoils of Spring

Such delicate and bold beauty to behold
And so the spoils of Spring unfold
Our heart held in soaring flight
Touched by the Creator's gifting light
Delicate be these petals in bloom divine
Captured be this moment in the NOW of time
Wings to flutter, to fly, in colors of majestic grace
Behold the grandeur, within your soul to place.

The Blue Butterfly

The Blue Butterfly

In Memoriam ~ Roseanne DiPaolo

sounds of soaring spirit
the flutter of wings in heavenly flight
the delicate grace of a blue butterfly
out of the chrysalis emergent soul of beauty
so too our blessed ascension to BEING.

...in noble deed...

in noble deed...

'tis wisps of green touched by the early evening sun
shimmer they in gentle grace
the flutter of a white butterfly in noble deed
silent is the soft wind
hear I the cooing and the chirping
such savor in the songbird song
the air, creation’s gentle breath
clear, cool be its enfolding embrace
the sun in this setting hour
its glory in heart to place.

A   D R E A M ... climbing mountains, tending fields, harvesting,
riding the river... and a voice proclaims...

YES, you are a child of the mountains
Of the fields, farms and rivers
Of the sun, moon and stars
You are the voice of the winds
The delight of a budding flower
The flight of the eagle
The delicate soaring of the butterfly
YES, you are all color all light
You are the sound in PRAISE
You are the pen in expression
You are the brush strokes in creation
You A R E ... Aspiration ~ Revelation ~ Eternal.

and then the awakening... the BEING.

In The Light - Just Because It Is

A butterfly with colors wondrous and bright
Magical wings of black, gray, yellow and white
A butterfly sings ever to me
With a chorus of leaves from the tall oak tree
A butterfly flutters flutters by
In the light of the sun and the blue blue sky.
