Words in Revelation

~

…the pleasure of the POET

Recently I was asked, “What do you feel when you read or hear a word.?”  I, in response: "Sounds, letters be they heard or silent, gather for their mission… to coney meaning to the NOW.” I look to the sounding vowels, the very spirit of the word, the song within  ready for release. I look to the sounding consonants, for the structure they provide, I look to the silent vowels, the silent consonants, for the support they offer. Yes, they present themselves as WORDS in Revelation …  holding to their mission of commune and call. Be this the pleasure of the POET. In repose, reflection, revelation, resolve...

A   D R E A M ... climbing mountains, tending fields, harvesting,

riding the river... and a voice proclaims...

YES, you are a child of the mountains

Of the fields, farms and rivers

Of the sun, moon and stars

You are the voice of the winds

The delight of a budding flower

The flight of the eagle

The delicate soaring of the butterfly

YES, you are all color all light

You are the sound in PRAISE

You are the pen in expression

You are the brush strokes in creation

You A R E ... Aspiration ~ Revelation ~ Eternal.

When a therapist, an artist, a poet... A young man called upon me today

A young man called upon me today

With feelings of distress and dismay

Expressed pain from oppressions past

Said he, the work of the DEVIL upon him cast

The call for revelation be it heard

Truth not deception be the beckoning word

It is what is LIVED that serves the Lord in PRAISE

Love ~ Inspiration ~ Victory ~ Eternal ~ Divinity to fill our days

Transformation and transcendence, blessings to hail

To our purity of intention, God's light to prevail

And so the WORD in its transcendence and grace

Within his heart he did willingly place

A vision new of yesterdays and lessons to behold

And so a new story to ever unfold.

Revelation Chapter 1

³ Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

⁸ I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
