And so it IS...

The grace of time in seasons be known
Colors in brilliant array in October be shown
Such gems of beauty in leaves of gold
Alchemic be a story told
Ruby red and bright orange in lavish array
Divinity to paint the day.

So Too...

work in completion and a task now done
so too the rising and setting sun
sensibilities known and emotions prevail
so too the seasons of change nature does hail
ideas and visions to crest and soar
so too the ebb and flow awaits the distant shore
creation's colors aflame a fire
so too the passion and the desire
aspirations and seeking of God's light
so too the dawn and past the night.

Markers ~ Winter Melody

..time...place... the north wind blows...

Markers

Seasons, moons, measures of time
Markers to define moments mine
The snow a gossamer veil and blanket to be
Quiet is its touch gentle upon me
A calling silence I hear with each step I take

As I look behind 'tis my path in snow I make
Rippling waves of wind, untempered, untamed
From a direction it is so named
Wild and possessing winds that enfold
The story of the North Wind here told
Seasons, moons, measures of time
Markers to define moments mine.

In the Grandeur ~ Genesis

Travails dispelled in this deep breath of early Fall
The oak tree of many seasons holds the morning light
Reaching bough and branch create shadows
A dancing grandeur cast upon the yet green grass
So gentle is the sway of the evergreens
I too, move to the touch
The crisp morning air upon my face
The mirth of bubbling water
Circles, ripples, reflecting light and shadow
I too, of many seasons
In the grandeur of the morning light.

This Season

light needs darkness
joy knows pain
love knows loss
life greets death
what was newly is
cycles, seasons, birth and rebirth
this season of Spring
the play of BEING to come
this season of Spring
bounty and glory as ONE.

The Sigh Of Fall

The sigh of Fall
A flower yet in bloom
A tree in color array
Reflections
All of nature's beauty
Within you
Season of change
Hues and tones
To temper time
You
Nature
The Creator's mind divine.

Ravage Not

Ravage not the land nor sea
Heed the echoed cry and plea
Heard in the crashing wave and thunderous sky
In valleys, plains and mountains high
Hold this Earth in reverent care
Protect our gifts of water and air
Take not in abuse a mineral or gem
Behold the wonder of each bloom, leaf and stem
Trees to flourish, 'tis bounty's call
The knowing grace of Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
Earth, animals, a you, a me
Nurture wise and abundance be.

Favor On To You

God's gifts to be known
By the bounty of earth shown
God's voice to be heard
In the hearing of his Word
For life given unto me
For flowing waters of the sea
For the feel of your love divine
For this moment in grace mine
For the budding of life in Spring
For the beauty Summer does bring
For colors in splendor each Fall
For the snows of Winter blessing all
Each moment, day and passing year
In gratitude for life evermore dear
A knowing of an inner spirit of calm
God's love shielding me from harm
Cold be winter's winds now that blow
Upon my face sun's noon warming glow
In joyful reverence this day gifted new
God's love, praise and favor on to you.
