Rustling Leaves

rains in libation sweet yesternight
upon awakening all held in morning light
magical be the light and shadow upon the tree
when the leaves in splendor of gold jeweled be
such gems of grace Autumn lovingly does bring
listen, listen, rustling leaves in soft winds sing.

In the Embrace of the Warming Sun…

The offerings of this day onto thee
Brilliant be the sun on the towering tree
Gems of color in glorious array to behold
Crimson, gold, russet, emerald, amber, Autumn’s story told
Birds in flight, their sweet song now be heard
Known be Creation’s Love, Creation’s WORD
Fluttering leaves to blanket the ground
As above, so below,  gifts of grace be they found.

...to see the marvelous...

"The invariable mark of wisdom is to
see the miraculous in the common."

— Ralph Waldo Emerson

the marvel of a golden leaf to fall
from that mighty tree bold and tall
the lilting melody of the song bird
within the love of heart be heard
these gifts of season and time
such be blessings of the divine
it is with grace and ardent PRAISE
that we endow our hallowed days.

The Sigh Of Fall

The sigh of Fall
A flower yet in bloom
A tree in color array
Reflections
All of nature's beauty
Within you
Season of change
Hues and tones
To temper time
You
Nature
The Creator's mind divine.

Secret Tree

Secret tree, a cloak of nature's wile

Blanketing the light you hold
What secret do you harbor in hues of green
Reflections upon still waters seen
Dipping deep at water's edge
I step beneath your bough
Your secret kept shall be my vow
I listen to what you have heard
And hear I the whispers of THE WORD.
