A delightfully spent Sunday in the PRESENCE of Summer...

In the PRESENCE of Summer...

the sun yet radiant in this hour nearing sunset
the air sweetly refreshing
greens yet lush and generously abundant
children's laughter faintly heard from doors away
I, in an interlude, a soulful grace of BEING
a quietude filled with the harmonies of songbirds
leaves of the dogwood glisten outside my window
sweet be the savor of the shimmering reflections
the sun holding to its supernal brilliance
strokes of gold and orange adorn the luminous setting sun
feel I a baptism of beauty
a stillness, a silence, a living peace
golden be this twilight hour
the endowments of BREATH and BEING
this a Sunday in the PRESENCE of Summer.

The Spoils of Rain and South Winds Yesternight

Rain and south winds yesternight
A sky of gray be the morning’s light
Each fallen leaf laden with the falling rain
Their wind swept flight put to tame
A brimming blanket of leaves upon the ground
Quiet they lay, gone their rustling sound
Soft be this bedding of leaves from branch and bough
Winds of Autumn and rain holding to nature’s vow
Branches with leaves in the splendor of color some yet be
Crimson, russet, orange, and gold donned by many a tree
Trees barren of leaves reach to the heaven’s above
Past the winter to come, Spring anew,  blessings and love.

The wondrous in expressive beauty...

The wondrous in expressive beauty...
Inspired by the gem tone colors of Autumn, by the flight of leaves, by the shimmer of light upon branch and bough, by the alchemic grace of the season, by the touch of the wondrous in expressive beauty... and so I take to palette and brush ...

And when do you know that the artist within you is calling…
when every color sings its splendor
when every line is a pathway
when every surface is an invitation
when every configuration becomes a work in progress
when holding a brush a kingdom is known
when holding a pen a poem speaks its words
when seeing the light truth within beckons
when what IS entreats Inspired Spirit
when ascension, revelation, truth, summon the soul
when the moment is the embrace of creation
when the vision bids mastery
the calling… the calling… the calling.

The Leaf That Glistens

Gems of color in glorious array to behold
Crimson, gold, russet, Autumn’s story told
Fluttering leaves now blanket the ground
As above, so below, gifts of grace be they found
Alchemic be the magic of each season of grace
Leaves taken by the winds of time hold sacred a place
Golden be the leaf that glistens in the November sun
Blessed be all who behold the message of the ONE.

The heavens, the earth in libation meet

such be this day of rain
hear I its sounding refrain
upon rooftops and gardens melody sweet
the heavens, the earth in libation meet
the grass yet held green
leaves of bright color upon trees seen
and some a carpet upon the ground
touched by libation's blessed sound.

A Sunday new... the LIGHT to prevail.

A Sunday new... the LIGHT to prevail... it is the quest ... the night ever in pursuit of the dawning... Let us rejoice as the noon day light jewels each leaf in its emergent color of splendor...

The offerings of this day onto thee
Brilliant be the sun on the towering tree
Gems of color in glorious array to behold
Crimson, gold, russet, emerald, amber, Autumn’s story told
Birds in flight, their sweet song now be heard
Known be Creation’s Love, Creation’s WORD
Fluttering leaves dressed in the season's splendor
To the will of Nature they so lovingly surrender.

The Tale of Fall Be Told

Each color, a secret held, until the season renewed its vow
For the splendor of color to soar free from branch and bough
In the embrace of the lambent sky and sun so very bright
Leaves of radiant color swept by autumn winds in wistful flight
Brilliant hues of orange, crimson, red, burgundy, and gold
A blanket of leaves upon the ground, the tale of Fall be told.

...This Moment... the music of NOW...

the sacred gift of this moment
sun in warming brilliance
air fresh, scented with the grass green and lush
an array of beauty to behold
flowers of mystical form and grace
leaves speaking the gentle winds
sky a lambent blue of pure light
branch, bough, leaf, a songbird song
this outside my open window known
be this the sacred dance, the music of NOW...

To Its Vow...

The sky lambent and brilliant with light... Shimmering be the leaves taken by the wind in flight...
A moment, a pause,
B L E S S I N G...

     Beauty
          Love
               Eternity
                     Spirit
                          Splendor
                               I AM
                                    Nurturing
                                         Grace ....

                                             the PRESENCE of NOW...
                                                the season of Fall

This Gift of Time...

Creation's gems of red and gold
Treasures of the season with a story told
Surrender they do to the winds that call
Leaves in a crescendo anew, 'tis Fall
Hold they to the sun's light and grace
Soon a blanket upon ground they place
Below my feet sweet rustle be heard
Feel I, the blessings of God's WORD
For change and light be this gift of time
This season yours, this season mine.

Autumn’s Array

Autumn’s Array

Red ruby gems in Autumn’s array
Leaves in splendor of color this very day
The jewels of season’s grace fall from the tree
Carried by the wind upon walk settled they be.

A Season of Change... the calling wind...

A season of change... emergent colors...
leaves taken by the calling wind...and I...🍂
past shallow waters
to the depths of BEING
past pretense and fear
to the depths of TRUTH
past the silence
to the expressive WORD
past reprisals and judgments
to the grace, the knowing, the beauty of SELF
the SELF as Spirit, Evolution, Love, Freedom
this in each breath of BEING
this in each breath of BEING...

A season of change... emergent colors...
leaves taken by the calling wind.🍂

Outside my window...

The Feel of September…
outside my window
the sky darkening
the winds sounding
rustling be the leaves
the deep green of the towering oak
the blushing anew of the dogwood
this the twilight hour
a sweet solitude
a gentle silence
a sigh, a pause…

S I M P L Y ...

Simply...
This day in May, at this hour in Tappan, New York...

All holding to the light
Sweet sounding melody of rustling leaves
Dogwood blooms carried by the gentle winds
Lambent sky and a caressing warmth
Song birds alight in lilting song
Such be this NOW of grace
All holding to the light.

'Tis G R E E N

“Tis G R E E N

green in such gleeful array
grass, underbrush, leaves hold to light of day
fresh and cool is the morning air
a sky of mirth, azure blue so fair
and I touched by the soft wind sweet
’tis green ’tis green my heart to greet.

Of Leaves

As I step into my garden I to greet
The sounding feel of leaves below my feet
A quiet presence deep within
All calmed is the daunting din
From that mighty Oak tree ever strong and tall
This blanket of fallen leaves, gift of Fall
Amber, red, orange and colors of gold
Trees of Birch, Dogwood, mark time and a story told
Leaves alight and with winds do flee
Season of change this be Fall's decree
Warming sun, touched by the morning air
November's  gift this hour, sky so blue so fair
These gems of trees in colors bright
Behold the benediction of  Creation's light.

A leaf, a gem, a crystal, a mineral... and so I ponder...

Could leaves be the very messengers that speak the language of rubies, emeralds, jade, citrine, peridot, tourmaline, malachite? These among the myriad of gems of Creation... All Above All Below... each leaf, each tree, to feed the Earth, to transform the Light into crowning jewels.

A leaf, a gem, a crystal, a mineral... and so I ponder...

Gems of Grace here in Tappan, New York...

Crimson, russet, and tones of gold
Be the splendor of Autumn gentle and bold
Leaves of color holding to sun's light
They to the wind in willing flight
Gathered upon the ground a treasure to bring
A blanket until the coming of Spring
Barren trees soon to welcome Winter's call
Such gems of grace the gifts of Fall.

Spoils of Fall

Feel the change, the darker and longer night,
the glory in each leaf now russet gold...
and so the October Mood of Nature's Grace...

Spoils of Fall

Two score of seasons has this garden tower seen
Holding time and touched by moss and leaves of green
A blanket now of russet fallen leaves, the spoils of Fall
From that mighty mighty oak tree, bold, strong and tall
Leaves possessed in flight rest now free
And above bough and branch barren be.
