Rustling Leaves

rains in libation sweet yesternight

upon awakening all held in morning light

magical be the light and shadow upon the tree

when the leaves in splendor of gold jeweled be

such gems of grace Autumn lovingly does bring

listen, listen, rustling leaves in soft winds sing.

Autumn's Wind Song

the brilliant light of a quarter moon
night winds blow
heard is the song of rustling leaves
lilting melody of russet, amber and gold
enchanted hues alight
wind song wind song this autumn night.
