HI ROSE MARIE
I have used trees as a way to facilitate therapy groups asking folks, at this point in their lives, which part of the tree do they see themselves most resembling:
1-the seeds, 2-the roots, 3- the trunk, 4-the branches and 5-the leaves. I was always so inspired by their truthful insights and shared inspirations and self evaluations. For me, today, I feel like the trunk - because I need to be strong, secure and a resource for my Mom. As she has been for me so many times. Such is the life cycles of the trees and of us.
