Tappan Witch

Yes it is this special day...

Trick or Treat here they come
Today is sure Halloween Fun!!
Knock, knock who goes there
The Tappan Witch with goodies fair
So welcomed you surely are
Be you from here near or there far
And a Halloween treat mighty fine
Awaits you at this door any time
Soon I will be again flying high
Look for me there up in the sky
Upon my broom I shall be
Give a wave I am sure to see!

Laden With The Night Rain

From trees young, towering, mighty and tall
The spoils of time, the gifts of Fall
Rains and south winds yesternight
A sky of gray holding to this noon day light
Each fallen leaf laden with the night rain
Their wind swept flight put to tame
A brimming blanket of leaves upon the ground
Quiet they lay, gone their rustling sound
Soft be this bedding of leaves from branch and bough
The winds of Autumn true to splendor and this season's vow.

Medicine Man - Black Elk's story of The Great Circle

See Their Knowing Wise

The medicine man
who evokes nature and spirit
The wise one
that looks to the cycles
of the seasons and the stars
The children
pure in their joy,
in their love,
in their reverence for life
Let us anew
see their knowing wise
Let us not in illusion hold
to deception and demise
The Great Circle
knows it so very well
This Orb within heart
love's answer to dwell.

The Blush Of Beauty

Leaves of green, red, orange, crimson and gold
Such is the palette of Autumn to behold
Colors to don trees in such rapturous array
Leaves alight flutter free this October day
The blush of beauty in colors bright
Blessed be all by the Creator's light.

From the Poet's Pen

This poet's pen with plea in heart

From which words have their start
A tree, a blossom, a water's flow
These the gifts of grace the poet does know
The music, the wind, a songbird heard
The poet so touched and offers a word
The spirits of song, of dance, of music, of art
From the poet's pen ne'er shall they depart
The muse of all to entreat her pleasure
Words of musing, this poet's treasure.

Fervor Within Heart

Sacred flame and fire
Consecrated passion and desire

Praise and Glory be they named

Truth and Love ever ordained

This blissful frenzy, a fervor within heart

From all doubt or fear this soul depart

The grandeur of life I not conceal

In the burning embrace of this moment real.

Autumn Wind ~ GIOVANNI MARRADI

Autumn ~ GIOVANNI MARRADI ~ Just for you

Known Be

Known be the touch and the calling of the wind
The ripples upon waters caressed by the sun
The fleeting dance of leaves alight
Trees dressed in hues of majestic delight
The music, the music, such sweet surrender
The changing season, this Autumn splendor.

Rose Marie Raccioppi

This Her Time

No limit to where she sets her goal

Within all IS and in grace to unfold
A poet, an artist, a dancer she be
A sculptor, a builder, all marvel to see
A musician, a singer, an opera star
A traveler, an explorer of lands near and far
An athlete, a winner of the gold
An inventor with a new story to be told
A scientist with ideas noble and true
A doctor to be there caring for you
A teacher, a nurse, an entrepreneur
An antique collector, treasures for sure
An actress, a wife, a mother too
All in Presence in Spirit's view
Within her loving heart and knowing soul
Exploration, discovery, TRUTH be told
Tender her touch, young be her years
Innocent and knowing she holds no fears
Keep in reverence all that she BE this day
This her time, life, a toy with which to play.

ALL Presence

In the solitude of these moments
The feel of the warming sun and gentle wind
Leaves in rapturous array, alight and flutter free
Ambient sounding, pulsing, heartbeat of time
This Autumn season of change
I, my breath, trees, the ALL presence.

This Heart, This Soul, This ALL

Quell not these passions aflame afire
The yearnings of this soul's desire
Know I this moment in living need
Creation and Being my heart to heed
Brush, paint, inner whispers heard
And cast upon paper Spirit's Word
I in the embrace of Creation's call
With WORD, this heart, this soul, this ALL.

This Oak's Loving Gifts

outside my window... in my garden...

Know I, this Oak's loving gifts
Towering life, strength and beauty
Rooted, reaching, branching free
Know I, its splendor and its grace
Many moons, many seasons past
The fresh green budding of Spring
The full rapturous bloom of Summer
And this season present
The glorious array of Fall
Leaves donned in shades of crimson
Take to wind's wondrous flight
Bare soon both bough and branch
To hold Winter winds, snow and light.

Rose Marie Raccioppi

Dedicated
in appreciation
for the care of this towering Oak
by the highly competent crew of

Sarvis Tree Service

The Climber and the Crew

Agile and confident be his stride
Adept in his tree climbing pride
With knowing care he mounts this towering Oak tree
Trimming and cutting with a supporting crew he be
And I to enjoy in full safety and pleasure
This towering Oak I lovingly treasure.

Creation's Bounty

Bough and branch
In splendor they be
The delight of leaves
The giving of a tree
Creation's bounty
Be it ever known
Seasons of grace
In God's light shown.

Season's Grace

Leaves at rest in colorful array
Such be the gifts of this Fall day
Gathered near the tall Oak tree
The leaves of Fall a blanket they be
Fallen branches and twigs of great number
Spoils of rain, wind and sounding thunder
With leaves alight the wind does bring
The acorns, the seedlings, for yet the new Spring
Each season's grace in joy to receive
'Tis the Creator, again conceived.

This Majesty of ALL

the lure of time
I heed not to its calling plea
the morrow of Creation
in Birth Eternal I BE
words and scrolls
speak the knowing heart
from the light of God
the WORD shall not depart
And I embraced
in heaven's light and love
this majesty of ALL
ALL below ALL above.

The Matrix

resounding whispers
awakened sensibilities
the voice and prod of Being
daunting echoes quelled
presence beckons
and I in an embrace
of my own heart's knowing
my soul's soaring faith
hear I the call of the Now
this moment of Being
beyond this room
beyond this place
to the eternal chambers
where all IS
the matrix of Inspired Spirit
the light of ONE.

'Tis Music I Hear

'tis music I hear
the cresting waves of the sea
the tides that ebb and flow
the lilt of the songbird
the whispering melodies of the wind
the crescendo of galaxies afar
the light refrain of the heavenly stars
'tis music I hear
the babbling brook
the rain at my window
the crisp crackle of autumn leaves
the silent song of winter's snow
the awakening melodies of spring's light
the warm serenade of the summer sun
'tis music I hear.

The Cloak

The cloak of mortal clothing shed
Bared be the illusions and fear
Tattered threads of despair and desolation
Woven on a loom of derisive deception
No, this not the warp and weft of my destined life
This not the calling of spirit that beckons to me
The Great Weaver has given threads of silver
The moon and the stars, a vision clear
The Great Weaver has given threads of gold
The Sun and an alchemy for life to behold
The warp now declared in light, love and truth
The weft the ever present unfolding of gifts divine
The cloak of mortal clothing shed
Fibers of soul a flame
The Great Weaver heeds your destined claim.

Trodden Be These Paths

Trodden be these paths
Holding to the season new
Amber, gold, scarlet and green
Nature's palette, October's hue
Leaves alight and settled some be
There is a fork in the road ahead of me
Venture new my heart does call
Change ahead in life's season of Fall.

October's Gift This Hour

As I step into my garden I to greet
The sounding feel of leaves below my feet
A quiet presence deep within
All calmed is the daunting din
From that mighty Oak tree ever strong and tall
This blanket of fallen leaves, gift of Fall
Amber, red, orange and colors of gold
Trees of Birch, Dogwood, mark time and a story told
Leaves alight and with winds do flee
Season of change the presence of Fall's decree
Torrential rain and south winds yesternight
Harken to the rising of morning's new light
The messengers of storm now silent of sound
Leaves, twigs and branches rest upon ground
Warming sun yet chilled be the morning air
October's gift this hour, sky so blue so fair.

The Wind and the Willow

The Wind
all pervading
free
one with all direction
The Willow
rooted ever in search
branch and leaf so humbly bend
holding to the wind
the light
and the unseen Presence
Wind and Willow, so I am
thought, mind and spirit
all pervading
free
one with all direction
holding to the unseen Presence.

Rose Marie Raccioppi

And now this very day

Perceived joy in this moment real
A sense of oneness I shall not conceal
The lilting exuberance, the embracing calm
Life in all its blossoming, its abundance, its wondrous charm
This moment barren of loss, fear, regret or sorrow
Holds the promise of BEING, this moment, this hour, this day, a tomorrow
This spirit, this soul, this life bequeathed to me
Ever was, ever is and ever shall BE.

And What Be This Poet's Plea

And what be this poet's plea
But to honor God's gifts
Be they of land, sky, ocean or sea
To know that All and One are given in grace
And in gratitude be our care, our loving embrace
Stars and galaxies, vistas of splendor and glory
Within the secrets, the miracles of Creation's story
Words to hold to the knowing of heart and soul
Reverent be our gratitude, our calling toll
And what be this poet's plea
But to honor God's gifts
Be they of land, sky, ocean or sea.

Rose Marie Raccioppi

In response to
Larry Lawhorn
who wrote...

"...it is our longing to become the poet...
that is the poet calling to you...
you are the poet so many long to hear...
designed by nothing less than infinite wisdom's Natural design...
trillion year old stardust woven into Living colors...
you were designed to be as you are ♥ ...

"...we are trillion year old StarDust... animated into Life, by Love. "

and I in response...

StarDust in waves of time and space
From which our spirit we to trace
Light beholden within our heart
From where love has its primal start
Known be the fire of the Creator's flame
And we the Presence of All so named.

With love,
Rose Marie
