The Great Weaver

This ever present gift of time, a cloak we weave
Threads of many textures ever to conceive
Woven be the thoughts of love, peace and pleasure
And known be the blessings, a cloak of silken treasure
And if there be a torn and tattered cloak to bare
Know I the GREAT WEAVER with weft and warp of ever present care
With silver threads of light and golden threads of love
Weave HE will, a cloak of crowning grace, the firmament above.

This Night Enfolded

this midnight hour
a silken sapphire cloak
sumptuous and inviting be its folds
beckoned I am to night's chamber
enfolded I be to bear its beauty.

The Cloak

The cloak of mortal clothing shed
Bared be the illusions and fear
Tattered threads of despair and desolation
Woven on a loom of derisive deception
No, this not the warp and weft of my destined life
This not the calling of spirit that beckons to me
The Great Weaver has given threads of silver
The moon and the stars, a vision clear
The Great Weaver has given threads of gold
The Sun and an alchemy for life to behold
The warp now declared in light, love and truth
The weft the ever present unfolding of gifts divine
The cloak of mortal clothing shed
Fibers of soul a flame
The Great Weaver heeds your destined claim.

A Cloak A Robe

A cloak a robe within its wraps I be
And from the mirror’s reflection hidden is the scarred me
A cloak a robe upon my shoulders rest
It hides not the hurt deep within my breast
A cloak a robe now a swaddling divine
When held separate from the scars deep within my mind
A cloak a robe within its soft folds I feel
Life and beauty beyond the scar concealed.
