Abiding Days

rising from clouds that dark be

light blessed onto thee

the changing mood of the firmament's grace

light that calls to heart's place

the lambent blue ordained by emergent rays

the ever present quest of our abiding days.

..and so it is... Wings In Flight

The vision of TRUTH in sounding light
Be this the spirit upon wings in flight
Such a deep accord I do feel
Times past and present to reveal
Color, line, form, all to convey
The beauty of breath, life's intention brought our way
The ebb and flow ever present they be
Within each heart, the ocean, the sea
The moving firmament and vistas afar
The light of the sun, the moon, each distant star
This BE the Muse in a beckoning call
This BE time, intention, purpose, the divinity of ALL
The vision of TRUTH in sounding light
Be this the spirit upon wings in flight.

Firmament ~ Eyes Turned Skywards

For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards,

for there you have been and there you long to return. Leonardo da Vinci

Ascending ever changing sky and light
Wondrous by day, wondrous by night
Ever present waves of color crest and enfold
In awe be this celestial sea of soul.

...a grace... a delight... In Quietude

gentle be the warmth of the sun

deep be the breath of resolve

a quietude, a pause, a knowing devine

take I to palette with brush and paint

the firmament lambent with love and light

in quietude, a grace, blessings of delight.

Dearest Friends, Thank You for visiting. This has been a WINTER to its name here in New York. Today, with yet mounds of snow from the last snowstorm, hints of the SPRING to come are joyfully present. Melting snow, peeking green of the daffodils, brilliant clear sky, the touch of the warming sun, all within the embrace of quietude and this season's cycle of change... so BE the Glory of Creation.... much love on to you... Rose Marie Raccioppi

A Blessed Sunday... Play I the Light

So sweet is this song of the winds I hear
Bygone yet heard within my heart so near
Strings to sound within this soul mine
Play I the light of the firmament divine.

Firmament

This ever changing firmament
I lovingly behold

Shades, hues and tones

By the light enfold

Sweeping streaks of colors ephemeral

Etch upon the soul.

The Great Weaver

This ever present gift of time, a cloak we weave
Threads of many textures ever to conceive
Woven be the thoughts of love, peace and pleasure
And known be the blessings, a cloak of silken treasure
And if there be a torn and tattered cloak to bare
Know I the GREAT WEAVER with weft and warp of ever present care
With silver threads of light and golden threads of love
Weave HE will, a cloak of crowning grace, the firmament above.

veiled be this firmament
cloaked in the Presence.

The Quest of Light

The enfold of silence and sweet slumber greet
Where dreams and awakenings ever to meet
The vistas traveled all near all far
To galaxies and a distant star
Spirit in flight across the sky
In the firmament above, above so high
Known be the glory, the quest of light
The pursuit of Spirit through the night.

Wherein lies this call, this command

What inspires this questing hand
The wavering cloud, the streaming light
Brush strokes to capture known delight
The firmament above
Nature's touch, godly love.
