Season's Grace

Leaves at rest in colorful array
Such be the gifts of this Fall day
Gathered near the tall Oak tree
The leaves of Fall a blanket they be
Fallen branches and twigs of great number
Spoils of rain, wind and sounding thunder
With leaves alight the wind does bring
The acorns, the seedlings, for yet the new Spring
Each season's grace in joy to receive
'Tis the Creator, again conceived.

Trodden Be These Paths

Trodden be these paths
Holding to the season new
Amber, gold, scarlet and green
Nature's palette, October's hue
Leaves alight and settled some be
There is a fork in the road ahead of me
Venture new my heart does call
Change ahead in life's season of Fall.
