Heaven and Earth

Images, vistas of Heaven and Earth in majestic array
Lakes, streams. rivers, oceans, wondrous water way
Rising and setting sun, colors emerge and blanketed they be
In the coming of night, held by the open sea
Mountains, plains, valleys, such splendor to behold
Each with a story past, present and yet to be told
Earth in its grandeur gifts of grace and light
So blessed be this day, so blessed be this night.

The Primordial of Time

the wind in its whispers
the oceans in its sounding waves
the rivers in its flowing call
the waterfalls in its cascading
the sounding of the universes afar
planets, galaxies, near and distant stars
harmonies of nature's glory and grace
the primordial sounding within hearts place
be we the harmonies of light and sound
within the marvel, the marvel of ALL be found
pulsing, motion, pause, a stillness divine
the sounding, the light, the primordial of time.

Written in reverent reflection...
the ambient music, the song bird song,
the harp song of the wind,
the pulse, the breath, the cadence, the harmony,
the PRESENCE.

Life, BEING and the Sea

within a sea of emotions cresting real
waves of pain, of joy beyond conceal
this day marked with tides gone by
a pause, a reflection, a deep deep sigh
confusion and dismay
be news brought our way
passions and longings to assail
a vision of resolve, and change we to hail
beyond the shadows cast our light be known
by the love and mercy our hearts have shown
there is a rhythm within Earth divine
and so too, of BEING, yours and mine
this ebb and flow, the constant there be
this of Life, BEING and the Sea
we hold to the call, the sea cresting within
and hushed be the discordant, this raucous din.

Libation's Grace

Libation's Grace

the tear shed
the rain fallen
the sun to rise
night rains and so flowing waters be
upon gardens, fields and onto the sea
earth and roots to the dawning light behold
heaven's sweet libation be this day's story told
the light beyond loss and despair
'tis the way and glory of our Lord's care
ebb and flow a constant upon life's shore
known be this blessed libation evermore
sweet be our offering, this grace to live
to libation's call our heart to give.

Primal Power of BEING...

Primal Power of BEING
     All pulsates, all breathes,
all in its own special way
               gives and receives.
                   A seed, a flower, leaves, a tree,
                       all that is green,
                           all that bears color
hold to libation, to the rains,
                                     to the oceans, seas, streams,
                                          lakes, brooks,
                                              to the sacredness of water.
All that breathes hold to the presence of air,
to the energizing warmth of the sun.
               All that lives are fed
from the nourishment of the earth.
Let us breathe as a seed,
knowing the bloom that is to be.
Let us bloom as a flower,
in its glory, in its special season.
     Let us discern, decide, deliver,
from the consciousness of care and creation.

Let us hold sacred our BREATH,
                  the primal power of BEING.
Let us with reverent regard embrace
and become one with the intent …
ever the giving and the receiving,
ever the receiving and the giving…
the beauty, the bloom, the bounty,
                             the beloved, the blessed…

Indeed it is so… a beautiful day in this neighborhood…

Indeed it is so… a beautiful day in this neighborhood…

A morning new has come
Feel I the warmth of the brilliant sun
The sweet song of the songbird is heard
Feel I the knowing of THE WORD
Lush, green, and in resplendent array they be
Shimmering leaves upon the towering tree
Azaleas and rhododendrons in blooms of pink and white
Holding to the gift of this day in noon day light
The quiver of new grass gentle below my feet
Here I with earth, with sun, the blessings to greet.

Indeed it is so… a beautiful day in this neighborhood…

YES, Walk the trees...

YES, walk the trees
the stones
the earth
the fields
the pastures
the garden
the gifts of CREATION
in humble submission and knowing JOY
be touched by the rains
the flow of water
the strength of roots
the grounding spirit
the sun that warms
the winds that whisper secrets
the presence of BEING.

The Wondrous

There is ever the wondrous in life
The ways of nature in expression
The gift of seed
The beauty of bloom
The blessings of bounty
Pay heed, pay heed, the breath
The receiving, the giving
This of Earth, this of Being.

DIVINE FRENZY

Wrapped in the rapture of consciousness unbridled... set aflame with an insatiable fire ... the knowing that calls to soul... this the exaltation of BEING...

"And when, after having divested yourself of your mortal body, you arrive at the most pure ether, you shall be a God." Pythagoras
compliance gives way to creative freedom
restriction gives way to expansive understanding
confinement gives way to total liberation
doubt gives way to boundless faith
judgment gives way to BEING
DIVINE FRENZY the breath of soul
spirit winds aflame
cloak of mortal clothing shed
flaring breath of soul as SELF known
alignment, resonance with earth, water, fire, air, either
sacred interplay of sound, light and spirit
ascension real, ascension real.

...the warming sun... the melting snow...days of a New York winter... Libation's Grace

torrential rain, mounds of falling snow
onto the receiving earth below
libation's grace upon land, farm and field
all to Spring's bloom and envisioned yield
earth and root so nourished they be
quiver of grass, the reach of the oak tree
libation be it present and ever so sweet
for the heavens and earth do lovingly meet
gift of the seasons with time ever unfold
feel I the touch of Spring's story yet to be told.

...unto thee

so small so delicate be a flower seed
within lies the mystery of life's creed
the earth, a haven it does give
water and sun within shall live
green leaves in abundance they be
beauty and creation flower unto thee.

Winds of Change

The ears deafened by the din of despair
The eyes blinded by the glare of illusion
The heart ravaged by the pain of betrayal
The soul hidden within the shattered self
Waves of destruction crest a sea of confusion
Life’s shores besieged by fear
Spirit summoned in the wake of the storm
Behold its calm resolve
The winds of change can now be heard
The distant shores now seen in the light of the rising sun
Rhythmic this heart with the cadence of the ocean tide
Undaunted now by the resounding ebb and flow
And the constant winds of change.

Mother Earth's Pulsing Passion

Mother Earth's pulsing passion

Rhythmic
Red depths of the seas
Throbbing waves
Cresting cry
Resounding
Heed well her plea
Heed well her plea.
