Libation's Grace

 

Libation's Grace 

the tear shed
the rain fallen
the sun to rise
night rains and so flowing waters be
upon gardens, fields and onto the sea
earth and roots to the dawning light behold
heaven's sweet libation be this day's story told
the light beyond loss and despair
'tis the way and glory of our Lord's care
ebb and flow a constant upon life's shore
known be this blessed libation evermore
sweet be our offering, this grace to live
to libation's call our heart to give.

Stand I upon the ground
Its secrets in silent form and sound
Roots holding to libation's grace
Within heart this treasure to place
Earth's music, a sounding ever sweet
This in beauty below my feet
