Thunderous Sounding

what be this awakening sweet
where grace and intention meet
what be this thunderous sounding in heart
where all that is has its knowing start
what be this soaring of spirit and soul
where vision is one with heart and goal
this be the Self, the TRUTH to embrace
where all that is blessed in knowing I place
where judgment, reprisal, illusion and demise
be cast aside by Spirit, an awareness wise
beyond the drama and lies yet heard
is the beloved glory of the divine WORD
joyful gratitude to fill my days
so be the embodiment of SELF in PRAISE.

...in the garden... Within Heart's Love

delicate be this holding of sun's light
petals of majestic grandeur and delight
enfold they Creation's tender embrace
the bloom of a rose within heart's love I place.
a flower, a memory, this benediction of time
beauty be truth's expression divine.

A Memorial Day Tribute ~ 2012 ~ To Honor Those Who Lived A Cause

To Honor Those Who Lived A Cause
Memorial Day 2012

Flowers and flags in devoted array
A loving tribute this Memorial Day
To honor those who lived a cause
This moment, this day, and so a pause
Hearts and souls in valor known
Right intention and devotion shown
Battlefields of victory and plight
Through all beheld freedom's light
Answered they did to liberty's plea
That freedom be held for a you, a me
Sons and daughters, husbands and wives
Children of purpose have given their lives
The breath of freedom an endowment divine
Bequeathed to life yours, life mine
With valor and sacrifice life they gave
And embraced the call yet to be brave
In memorial and reverence gather we
For held be the right that we live free
Memory of each life gone never to fade
Live we life's blessings for sacrifice made.

In loving gratitude to all who served and serve in faith ever new.
...lest we forget..

Light's Allure

brilliant be the setting sun
this hour of day in surrender
upon the horizon a twilight fire
light's allure and heart's desire
soon the dark shall in vista come
light and darkness to embrace as ONE
blessed be this twilight fire
light's allure and heart's desire.

The Iris Garden

the twilight hour at the iris garden
each bloom holds to the gentle winds that call
the winds whisper the grace of each petal and leaf
the night becomes infused with majestic divinity
felt is this enchanting dance of color, light and bloom.

rain...rain.. and more rain... and then...The Splendor of Green

The Splendor of Green

mountain side fields of green there be
on river banks as waters flow to the ocean to the sea
from Spring to Winter be there ever seen
budding and seasoned leaves of green
dew touched green greets the dawn
the harvest from nature's bounty drawn
in heights that soar a tree does stand
the splendor of green in sublime command
shades and hues upon branch and bough
the grace of green 'tis nature's vow.

Illumed

Illumed

a rampant fire you to tame
the divinity of light be your claim
this light, this passion, this shadow real
unbridled beyond constraint beyond conceal
illumed be this consecrated majesty alluringly sublime
captured be the grace, the wondrous beauty divine.

Lilting Song Sweet

moments of fulfillment and knowing true
purpose and vision a destined you
another heart, another soul, a path be shown
gathered be the pain, the resolve, the joy known
from the ancients echoes of wisdom in resounding accord
the counsel of kings, queens, sages, and a blessed Lord
hear I the robin redbreast, a lilting song sweet
branch and bough and wings alight do meet
touched by the yet brilliant setting sun
thoughts, reflections, gentle winds call as ONE.

A Child ... this be known...

A Child

a child is not born with sword in hand nor malice in heart
the glory of breath BE its blessed start
tender be its touch, loving be its grace
ever be its questing, reverent be its place
shadow not by doubt, judgment, reprisal and fear
let the gift of life be held beyond each tear
know what time and space is ordained to give
the SELF in Peace eternally to live.

A Sunday in Tribute ~ And How A Mother Shows Her Care

And how a mother shows her care
She sees the loss, the pain but does not despair
With faith and the vision of her child set free
She revels in joy for all that be
Acceptance, gratitude, forgiveness to discern
Life’s lessons not always easily learned
With wisdom and knowing deep within her heart
Doubt, fear and sadness readily depart
A new path so shall she lay
For this and the awakening day.

Happy Mother's Day to All

Flutter...Flutter...Frivolity

In the darkest hour before dawn
Awaken I to feathered voices
Sweet flirtations to court the new day
Heard be the fluttering of wings
Robins red breasted
Frivolity fills my chambers
And blushed be the hour.

Spoils of Spring

Budding leaves of many hues
Reaching branches of the lofty oak tree
The quiver of dawning grass laden with Spring rain
Robins red of breast alight in my garden near
Blooms of grace and brilliant white
The song of birds distant yet heard
The presence of soft winds and a gentle rain
The silent sounding of growth abound
Such be the spoils of Spring, this day found.

Troves Of Time

Mood, these moments of being, the troves of time
In reflection, thoughts as words line by line
Treasures vaulted within this heart
From which reverie has its start
Garlands of thought ever free
Gifts of life bequeathed unto thee
Now and memories of old
Mark this time yet to be told
What pray tell am I to understand
The God within holds loving command
And so this moment born ever new
Troves of time betrothed to you.

A Violet Cloak

I step into the night
a violet cloak across the stillness
a cool mist touches my face
a silent melody touches my heart
the vastness embraces me
veiled in this firmament of majesty
the Presence
and the I AM of BEING.

The Field

The dew upon the field so wide so vast
The kiss of nature in drops of water cast
The bloom ever in color and splendid array
The blessings of Creation this very day
The loving grace of field and bloom bright
The gentleness of petal to hold God's light
Such is the splendor and love of the Presence we share
This array of divine beauty in God's care.

Poetry Is That Moment

Poetry is that moment
a reprieve
a sigh
a deep breath
a pause
a reflection
welcomed
embraced
with a listening heart.

By the poet's pen
each sounding word
each sounding line
a vibratory call
to body
to mind
to spirit
it is the pulsing heart that becomes known
it is the soul that soars
delight prevails
wisdom rejoices.

SPIRIT

A word... letters that call to its meaning...

                                                        the Silence heard
                                                        the Power known
                                                        the Inspiration lived
                                                        the Resolve revealed
                                                        the I AM
                                                        the TRUTH eternal.
