passions, cresting waves divine

this the pulsing heart of mine

a sea of fire and light 

beyond shadows vast

the ebb and flow of flaming grace

in love's caress be cast.

Poetry is that moment 
a reprieve
a sigh
a deep breath
a pause
a reflection
welcomed 
embraced
with a listening heart.

By the poet's pen
each sounding word
each sounding line
a vibratory call
to body
to mind
to spirit
it is the pulsing heart that becomes known
it is the soul that soars
delight prevails
wisdom rejoices.

no embers does it create
