Morpheus

Morpheus
swaddled in your spell
cradled in galaxy light and wind
suspended in time
Morpheus
beyond Earth to distant worlds
within this enfold of slumber
held by the sweet graces of sleep
Morpheus
feel I your beckoning
know I your majesty
your guiding light to dawn.

cosmic fire of sweet slumber

... time cast... Before the Dawn

the silent touch of the night

within depths of darkness be there light

cresting time within a celestial sea

quest of day an awakening to be

before the dawn held I within a vista vast

embraced by the dark the light eternal time cast.

dawn's winter light
snow capped winds blow strong
soft sweeping hues of violet
be this cloak of winter day new.

In the darkest hour before dawn
Awaken I to feathered voices
Sweet flirtations to court the new day
Heard be the fluttering of wings
Robins red breasted
Frivolity fills my chambers
And blushed be the hour.
