And I at a WOOD TABLE...

The wood table holds the divine signature of the tree
Shades of russet brown in markings of age before me
The quiet beauty of time and strength in grace to greet
Lines, waves of grain, where branch and bough did meet
I behold the majesty abiding in its humility and glory
The towering oak tree, a table with its calling calling story.

Saturday Hour in Tappan, New York

Darkened be the sky at this afternoon hour
Grass, bloom, branch and bough
Touched by the rain
'Tis libation's vow
Waters welcomed they be
Felt is the delight of field and tree
The sound of rain a melody sweet
The ALL of above with earth to greet
And when the sun to shine anew
Echoes of green graced on to you.

The Wisdom of Passion I So Decree

The wisdom of passion I so decree
'Tis the winds and cresting waves of the sea
The flames of soul's deep desire
The consuming transforming lure of sun and fire
The towering tree reaching with branch and bough
The budding bloom holding to nature's vow
The lingering lure of a garden's scent
The embracing vision clear and fervent
The soft caress of this Summer moment mine
'Tis thought and BEING in beauty entwine
The feel of this PRESENCE known it shall be
The wisdom of passion I so decree.

Awaiting at a Wood Table

The wood table holds the divine signature of the tree
Shades of russet brown in markings of age before me
The quiet beauty of time and strength in grace to greet
Lines, waves of grain, where branch and bough did meet
I behold the majesty abiding in its humility and glory
The towering tree, a table with its calling calling story.

...listen along with me...Verdant Whispers

...listen along with me...

Verdant Whispers

listen to the wind's calling
feel the quiver of spring grass new
verdant whispers upon branch and bough
this season of grace fulfills its vow
colors in brilliant array divine
blooms of delicate beauty sublime
carried be these callings within my heart
from the splendors of Spring I shan't depart
listen to the wind's calling
feel the quiver of spring grass new
verdant whispers upon branch and bough
this season of grace fulfills its vow.

Harp Song of the Winds

hear the harp song of the winds
melody of branch and bough
'tis the vespers of a winter's night.

The night holds much fascination for me. It is a time when I feel a deep connection and communication with vistas far. Visions, movement of clouds, glimmers of light, distant stars and planets, ambient sounds are called to expression... and so my offerings of palette and word.

... with blush ever anew...

green leaves, branch and bough
in homage to the season's vow
a season with blush ever anew
crimson, russet, golden tone and hue
a palette of color be this joyful array
known as the delights of a passing day
brilliant be nature's blessed bounty all
melodies of color sing out sing out, 'tis Fall.

As Above So Below

as above, so below
branch and bough reaching to heaven's heights
roots to the deep depths of mother earth
'tis the light ever in quest
'tis the depths ever our behest.
