Saturday Hour in Tappan, New York
Darkened be the sky at this afternoon hour
Grass, bloom, branch and bough
Touched by the rain
'Tis libation's vow
Waters welcomed they be
Felt is the delight of field and tree
The sound of rain a melody sweet
The ALL of above with earth to greet
And when the sun to shine anew
Echoes of green graced on to you.

Green be the Way... Happy St. Patrick's Day

GREEN be the way... and to all the blessings of St. Patrick's Day...
Nature's Vow
mountain side fields of green there be
on river banks as waters flow to the ocean to the sea
from Spring to Winter be there ever seen
budding and seasoned leaves of green
dew touched green greets the dawn
the harvest from nature's bounty drawn
in heights that soar a tree does stand
the splendor of green in sublime command
shades and hues upon branch and bough
the grace of green 'tis nature's vow.

...rain...rain...Echoes of Green

heard is the robin's song
perched on the blooming dogwood
heard is the scamper of the squirrel
climbing the towering oak
felt is the quiver of grass
wet with the newly fallen rain
echoes of green echoes of green
the lush vibrant sounding of Spring.
