The Wisdom of Passion I So Decree

The wisdom of passion I so decree
'Tis the winds and cresting waves of the sea
The flames of soul's deep desire
The consuming transforming lure of sun and fire
The towering tree reaching with branch and bough
The budding bloom holding to nature's vow
The lingering lure of a garden's scent
The embracing vision clear and fervent
The soft caress of this Summer moment mine
'Tis thought and BEING in beauty entwine
The feel of this PRESENCE known it shall be
The wisdom of passion I so decree.

Within Folds

enveloped in layers of thought am I
embraced within folds of the Word divine
a bud, a flower, a pulsing of this heart
brush stokes and knowing has its start
colors, tones, shades and hues, bright and bold
within each brush stroke cradled, a story be told.

Triune Haiku ~ Upon Reflection ~ Georgia O'Keeffe

Triune Haiku

red be this passion
lilting waves of pulsing light
chambers and vessels.

life in its splendor
the fullness of breath and heart
cresting ebb and flow.

alchemy now known
golden hues of creation
mystical rapture.

Andrea Bocelli - Romanza (Italiano)

the embrace once felt
the faith once shared
the tomorrow once planned
the love once known
ever present in this heart.

The Wisdom of Passion

The wisdom of passion I so decree
'Tis the winds and cresting waves of the sea
The flames of soul's deep desire
The consuming transforming lure of sun and fire
The towering tree reaching with branch and bough
The budding bloom holding to Spring's vow
The lingering lure of a garden's scent
The embracing vision clear and fervent
The soft caress of this Summer moment mine
'Tis thought and Being entwine
The feel of this PRESENCE known it shall be
The wisdom of passion I so decree.

Azure

Rivers of my mind
Streams of my heart
Celestial seas of my soul
Cascading, cresting waters
Hues of azure fuse and flow.

Stand I At Water's Edge

Stand I at water's edge

The warmth of the sun
Your hand upon my brow

The touch of the mist
Your gentle caress

The cresting waves of the ocean
The rapture of your embrace

The shifting sands below my feet
The presence of you that once was

Stand I at water's edge.

TRUTH Prevails

Pink, red and white, three roses for me to receive
Gentleness, love, truth, I did perceive
Each a bloom as days gone by
Gentleness and love flower and die
Truth prevails in bloom array
A bud within holds this very day
Its message I heed in delight
TRUTH, the bringer of gentleness, love and light.

This April Day

A gaze upward
To the lucent afternoon sky
A backdrop of sound
Baby cooing
Child's laughter
Seasoned voices speaking
Call of mother to child
Low squeaking of the swinging swing
Dull thumb of a bouncing basketball
Cascade of water upon pebble and rock
Distant chirping of songbirds
Sweetly sounding wind chimes
Telephone ring of the caller
All within the silent voices of nature
Beckoning buds and bloom new.
