Lovingly Present
Monday, September 28, 2020
Outside my window
from where I sit at my desk
the brilliant amber-russet of the leaves of the Dogwood
hold to the noonday light
the embracing of the deep green of the pines
join in the brilliance of the sun.
A pause... and felt is
the passion
the ascension
the unity
the spirit
the exchange

A Sunday new... the LIGHT to prevail.
A Sunday new... the LIGHT to prevail... it is the quest ... the night ever in pursuit of the dawning... Let us rejoice as the noon day light jewels each leaf in its emergent color of splendor...

"some are born to sweet delight ... some are born to endless night..."
Jim Morrison ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Morrison ) was a poet, one who sought meaning in each encounter, one who wanted to convey what we were to be aware of, responsive to, ever to appreciate cause and effect, ever to know we are the ultimate deciders for the fate of our BEING. When All Refuse...
the mounting loss
the heartache and tears
what be this devastation that prevails
why these imposing fears and travails
are we not to hold reverence for each gift of life
are we not to create a world beyond bitterness and strife
what calling plea shall we answer this very day
within our hearts and visions PEACE be THE WAY
when all refuse to destroy their fellow man
PEACE will be the prevailing command
the sun rises and light anew there be
so too, the blessings onto thee
awake to the calling, the pulsing within heart
the breath from which life bears its start
reverent be our gift of time and purpose real
the grace of life beyond conceal
when all refuse to destroy their fellow man
PEACE will be the prevailing command.

BE it...
the silent the silent knowing of THE WORD
the music the music ever be heard
be it the pulsing of heart
from which life bears its start
be it the lilting notes of a songbird sweet
such ambient delight upon soul to greet
be it the feeling warmth of the sun upon a reaching hand
the gentle touch of light in God’s command
be it the whisper of the wind upon leaf, tree, and bough
and heard be the grace, the love, of a soulful vow
be it this moment with a sigh, a pause, a respite known
the glory, the chorus of grace, in light shown
and to our hearts with kindness dear
a day, an hour, a moment in faith ever near
be we to rejoice, to proclaim
the splendor, the love, the blessings within God’s name.

A WEB to spin...
a poetic dialogue ensues in heart… and so it is...
A WEB to Spin…
From deep hurt and loss a web to spin
In threads of anguish caught her heart within
Soulful reflection and resolve to proclaim
In forgiveness and faith to call God’s name
To feel the knowing, the purpose, the plan
Ever God’s gift to life, woman and man
Free be her heart and lamenting soul
In glory she to live life’s goal
Entanglements need not confining be
She to hold to life’s decree
The beauty of a spider’s web be it known
For the intent fulfilled and the artistry shown
So too, within our hearts threads of time, people and place
And within a web we may so place
Yet each thread is created anew to interweave
So too, with each thought we bear to conceive
Within these threads of creation and time
Behold the magic, the mystery, the wondrous divine.

To a Sculptor ~ God’s blessed command
Nor what may need to have been forsaken
Created with heart’s divinity and pleasure
’Tis the soul’s light and heart’s treasure
Known shall be the workings of heart and hand
Held as expression of God’s blessed command.
