He wrote...

Before me words upon paper cast
What is said and what is masked
What do these words deeply convey
What is it that the heart need say
The emptiness and fullness of life be told
By the words that seek to unfold
To make sense of all that comes to evolve
The soul ever in reach for TRUTH and resolve
What contradiction is there to live
What understanding will this day willingly give
Pain and dismay may not to others be shown
This torment held within to Self be known
Confines and pretense these shackles to unbind
And free shall be these taunts of heart and mind.

Today My Birthday...And Known BE

I dance and known be the stars

I breathe and known be the wind
I blink and known be the light
I sigh and known be the moon
I cry and known be the streams
I long and known be the rivers
I smile and known be the sun
I dream and known be the mountains
I change and known be the tides
I pine and known be the oceans
I love and known be all the heavens.

Caverns of the Mind

Caverns of the mind
Fire of the soul
Depths and heights
Fields, waves, a soaring quest
Mood, desire, a heartfelt plea
Calling calling night
The flame the flight.

This Season

light needs darkness
joy knows pain
love knows loss
life greets death
what was newly is
cycles, seasons, birth and rebirth
this season of Spring
the play of BEING to come
this season of Spring
bounty and glory as ONE.

the play the theater
the drama staged
the brush the paint
the artistry unfolds
the line the shadow
the drawing to portray
the thought the reflection
the poetic word to convey
the vision the sculpture
the stone the clay reveal
