Inner Realms

Under the shroud of sleep
Timeless moments
Inner realms dispelling limitation
All pervasive Being
Above Earth's plains
Beyond all mountains
In flight across the heavens
Held not by gravity
Within the burning light
That cannot be contained
The shroud of sleep lifted
And I awakened to time
A vibrant peace
An all sounding silence
Knowing
I shall descent no more
Into the lower realms
Of deceptive thought.

~

all sound silence
all color light
all sensibilities peace
all life breath
all awareness rapture
all knowing truth
all truth beauty.

Beneath A Willow

So delicate each leaf
So mighty your bough
Branches bend humbly
Yet strength be your vow
Waters in libation
Winds in embrace
Under your majesty
Beneath I in place
Seasons of change
Sun, moon a distant star
Listen I to all the secrets
Whispers near and far.

Where Love Is Known ~ Beethoven Violin Romance No.2

Where love is known
And destiny makes its call
Now I want to take you away
Bring you to that place
Where there are no doubts
Where only conviction and faith preside
Where obstructions are but momentary
That place within my arms
Now I want to take you away
Bring you to that place
Where there are no doubts
Where you feel the vastness and closeness
Where an embrace holds and frees you
Where you live the beauty you are
Where love is known
And destiny makes its call.

A Cloak

This ever present gift of time, a cloak we weave
Threads of many textures ever to conceive
Woven be the thoughts of love, peace and pleasure
And known be the blessings, a cloak of silken treasure
And if there be a torn and tattered cloak to bare
Know I the GREAT WEAVER with weft and warp of ever present care
With silver threads of light and golden threads of love
Weave HE will, a cloak of crowning grace, the firmament above.

Master Gardener

Petals of golden light I to perceive
This the majesty of the Creator to conceive
What thoughts of love and grace has He
To bring beauty's array, this flower to be
Seeds of light the center does hold
Within, another flower yet to unfold
Gifts upon our Earth, blooms ever sublime
And touched we are by this endowment divine
The Master Gardener in loving grace does sow
A behest in celebration of the sun's light and glow.

A Day in July ~ Saturday Before Sunset

...a day in July...

On a Saturday Before Sunset

No earrings, bracelets, necklaces or rings need she bear
Yet fully adorned and crowned in God’s loving care

Free of shackles and constraint of body and soul
Within all treasures and a found goal

She honors life in all its glory
Each moment now a complete story

And when she records with pen a line
Awakened and felt is the sublime

Who pray tell is she
She is the I introduced to the me

And in this moment of quiet reflection
She sees all of nature in full perfection

Bamboo leaves such grace of green
Shades and hues held by each leaf seen

Touched and moved by wind and light
Leaves in shadow leaves held bright

The quiver of the growing leaf, the strength of the rooted tree
Suspended, held and free

Running waters flow, a chorus of crickets, branches all a sway
A bird, a butterfly in luminous array

The warmth of the summer setting sun her hand does feel
And what is so distant is now and real

At a round wood crafted table she taken to rest
And marvels when catching sight of a bird returning to nest

An airplane above a distant roar
She thinks of how man sets himself to soar

Children’s voices at play are heard
Accompanied by the song of a songbird

No greater or lesser can this presence be
The I known here, now, in this moment to me

The deep breath of Being in great abound
On a Saturday before sunset the I has found.
