Late Morning ~ the Monday following Easter ~ here in New York
To the glimmers of a lambent firmament on high
The sun beholden to the glory of a clear blue sky
See I, the tiny buds of bloom upon branch and bough
Held by creation's supernal grace, a blessed vow
The Easter Rising pulses the heart with passion and praise
The present hour, the grace, the rising of our days
In prayerful words, petitioned is the light to come
For felt is the GLORY, LORD and GOD,
THY WILL BE DONE.
