Garden Visit ~ George Washington Memorial Park - flowers in array...

Three Blooms

An inviting cluster of colors bright
Gems of Creation's abiding light
Three blooms of supernal grace
Yellow the joy of the rising SUN
Red the very blood of the pulsing heart
Magenta the splendor of spirit known
Heard be the call to heart's place
Three blooms of supernal grace.

Yellow Awakening

The yellow awakening is in the air
Bright be this blue morning sky so fair
Warming sun and melting mounds of snow
Upon patches of green grass below
Twigs, broken branches from Winter's storm now past
The peeking bloom of deeply rooted daffodil bulbs everlast
The quiver of yellow this day known
In the budding green of my garden shown
Awaiting yet present be this Spring's grace
And I in enfolded in its awakening embrace.

March Days

March days
The crisp crackle of dried leaves
The soft quiver of growing grass
The deep sigh of soft winds
The feel of air yet chilled
The play of green and blooming yellow
The mood of early Spring.

Yellow Bloom Awaiting

The touch of Spring is in the air
Warming sun and melting mounds of snow
Twigs, broken branches and fallen leaves
Of the winter's season
Upon patches of new green grass
The peeking green of deeply rooted daffodil bulbs
The Knowing
Yellow bloom awaiting.
