TROVES of TIME... Treasures vaulted within this heart

TROVES of TIME...

Moments of being, the troves of time
In reflection, thoughts as words line by line
Treasures vaulted within this heart
From which reverie has its start
Garlands of thought ever free
Gifts of life bequeathed onto me
Now and memories of days old
Mark this time, stories yet to be told
What pray tell am I to understand
The God within holds loving command
This moment born ever anew
Troves of time betrothed onto each of you
This moment to BE, and lovingly to share
Known be our hearts. and God's tender care.

Forget-Me-Nots

delicate blooms of a lambent sky
so too, the golden sun from on high
each in its own beckoning way
call to memories of a long gone day
markings with pen in a journal, echoes they be
of times and delight in the embrace of thee
forget-me-nots, be they blooms of memories sweet
a yesterday, a now, ever as one to greet
and so pages and blooms be they offerings to share
the embodiment of God’s blessings and care.

Dreams Enfold

we gave a cry and all rejoiced for this our birth complete
we are our first steps greeted with open arms
our first word that brought an admiring smile...

trace the years and their memories await anew
a montage, a kaleidoscope, of one's life view
sounds, impressions, of place time and moments sweet
where our dreams and our days come to meet
praise, punishment, joy and pain come to define
a life known as rightly yours, a life lived as mine
and what brings reason to pause this very day
but the wondrous Creation given by Life along its way
a sculpture unveiled and all in AWE and PRAISE
for what each has brought to their ennobled days
and then a painting, a poem, an endearing embrace
upon a time line of memories now they to place
decades of moons have brought mystery and delight
magical be this waxing and waning of Creation's light
and so this heart, this soul, in time's grasp and claim
be held in the spirit and glory of our Creator's name
be it of yesterdays or days yet, and dreams enfold
each new gaze, a breath, a sigh, be this our story told.

Within These Walls

Within these walls the waling labor and the promise of a new day
Upon these floors the heavy burdens and the knowing of The Way
Within these chambers of heart and home reverie and reflection
The searching wave of wonder and awe crests with God's perfection
No promise or lament need be silenced or denied its haunting call
Within moments Now the pulsing passion of Presence, The All
The rooms of this home bear sounds and visions of day's gone by
Beauty held in music, art, the gifts of man, child, earth, sea and sky
The noonday sun touches this day with warming light
From each window I look to sky, trees and leaves in wind's flight
This deep captivating call of heart and home in silence I do ever hear
I know of God, this moment, and faith in a tomorrow of banished fear.

The rock and roll of the 80's played by my young sons, the barking of our much loved family dog, the bubbling of fish tanks, the cooing of the finches, the care of pigeons, quails, hamsters, snakes, doves, rabbits, turtles, gerbils, white mice, hamsters, the many happy birthdays sung, sounding memories yet heard... These be the savored echoes held by the walls... each room its own artful collection of times long past and the shared JOYS of time present. And now my grandchildren add new treasures, gems of time, dreams yet to be dreamed, and love shared anew. Yes, all Within These Walls...

Reverie

reverie a flow
shadows now illumed
sweet sentiments
misty memories
gentle moment sublime
a pulsing embrace
all alight in heart.

Lovingly Present

Memories within her fibers deep
There rests her inner child asleep
A young girl of imagination now grown
Yet in remembrance of all ever known
She is spirit free of confine
Reminding me of liberation mine
Ever embracing, discovering, initiating a knowing wise
Understanding those who may beckon demise
And so in joyful encounter she chooses to be
And awakened remains lovingly present within me.

A Page to Unfold

Reflections, aspirations, expressions and desire
Words speak of life, passion, flame and fire
A gift of life now ever to be known
By the words of heart you have shown
And others may now be freed to reveal
What in their hearts they yet conceal
Many a story there is to be told

From days past a page to unfold.

Tenderly Onto The Shore

Sounding gentle winds
Embracing waters
Ocean waves
Tenderly onto the shore
So like the lilting memory
Of our touch
This moment
This moment of summer love.

Mindscapes

A prisoner within my soul
Menacing manacles mounting toll
Silent surrender smothering suppression
Held and shackled stilled expression
Time recaptured past visions present be
Now known as what I have brought upon me
Shed the hurt and many a tear
So gone the constraint, so gone the fear
Touched by TRUTH and GOD’S knowing care
Self freed of delusion this dark despair
Mindscapes of lifetimes here and past
Revelations known and BEING ever last.

Barren Trees

The winter sun bright and free
To touch and reach the whole of me
No leaves to shield me from its rays
The gentle warmth of cold winter days
Shadow, light and wind the snow does hold
This moment present and memories of old
The fun and frolic of young winter's past
Snowballs, sleigh rides, delight ever last
And now the faint song of wind and chime
The gifts of barren trees, life and time.
