Sleep Dear Child ... a Mother's Lullaby...

Sleep dear child, this joyous day
Sleep this night, with stars above
Know the light, of God's love
Sleep dear child, you'll find the way
Sleep this night, the day is done
When you wake, you'll greet the sun
Wondrous night, this sky of blue
Brilliant stars, shining new
Rising sun, then night shall be
A new day for our heart's glee
Gone this day, and come the dawn
You will find, a bright new morn.

This a Lullaby...

This a Lullaby, gifted to a Mother,
onto her new born child she sings...
BEAUTY ABOUT YOU...

Clouds and sun and frost and dew
All is beauty about you
Oceans wide the earth so blessed
Land touched by Your caress

Lakes and streams and rivers flow
Rainbow bright and moon glow
Behold the splendor of the Light
Be it day, Be it night.

Painting: Tenderness, Mother and Child, Bruno Di Maio, 1944.

APOGEE Moon

I look to the sky this night
The gentle caress of day's end
Winter's apogee moon
A lullaby silent.
