Sleep Dear Child ... a Mother's Lullaby...

Sleep dear child, this joyous day
Sleep this night, with stars above
Know the light, of God's love
Sleep dear child, you'll find the way
Sleep this night, the day is done
When you wake, you'll greet the sun
Wondrous night, this sky of blue
Brilliant stars, shining new
Rising sun, then night shall be
A new day for our heart's glee
Gone this day, and come the dawn
You will find, a bright new morn.

These words sung, to the tempo of a tender lullaby, have brought both Mother and Child to lovingly feel the grace of Creation. It has been taught to many a mother-to-be to sing to their yet unborn child. Such sweet tidings , when sung to the newly birthed infant brings forth an assuring calm.

There is a repeated refrain that simply sings the seven vowel sounds, this the gift and glory of breath. For further information you are welcomed to send a message. I would be pleased to reply.
