Alchemy

Seized be this spirit in a moment of dark despair

Absent of knowing God's light and ever loving care
Oppression dark upon my heart yet be lain
The shackle of emotion still held profane
This mind to silence the daunting echoes of a time past
And free this heart from binding chains cast
Memory called to free this heart this soul
Alchemy to ring its welcomed toll
I again in a golden light of faith and love
Served by truth and the majesty of heavens above
Clear be the messages of soul now heard
And known be the glory of God's Word.

All Sensibilities

All sensibilities known to me
From passion I shall not flee
The enchanted call of the divine
Heard within heart's chambers mine
This pulsing flame and fire
The throb of inner desire
With poet's pen a quest to write
Of the eternal now be day or night
With paint brush strokes of emotion
In glory and in reverent devotion
The silence filled by music heard
And so be known is the divine WORD
The Muse ever shall you heed
'Tis the echo of the creator's creed.

Lure Divine

Pangs of a ravenous hunger pulse within this heart
Chambers void and barren when from you I depart
Prods of passion to awaken this questing soul
Yield I to the echo, the chime of the calling toll
Ascent these waves of emotion cresting free
From this depth of knowing I shall not flee
Piano, piano each key a seductive lure divine
Touch, and be known this heart, this soul mine.
