Red Array

What longing lore of love do your petals enfold
Your sweet seductive fragrance I to behold
Bloom in rapture and radiant red array
The kiss of waters upon your petals lay.

Beautiful photo and verse. I love the "radiant red array"! I'm a fan of alliteration and rhyme -- take a look at my current post to see how we're thinking alike on that.

Hi Rose Marie and happy Sunday to you.

Oh my, the power of red, magnified by drops of water on and in between the petals. I can smell the scent of fresh blooming desire as the rose relaxes in it's own beauty and passionate fragrance - not so different from you and from me in those moments just before.
Love to you
Gail

Karen's comment is right on. There's something almost old english about these lines.
