From Depths of Darkness

From depths of darkness vast
A vortex of light be cast
In heavens and galaxies there to find
The knowing of the Great Mind
In silence, in chaos, the quest is heard
Dispel the darkness and light be The Word.

Always in times of chaos, there always is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Choice, Yes, and knowing that day (awakening) brings light to the darkest of nights - an ever present metaphor.

Hi Rose Marie. In my catchup of your postings I noticed a great John William Waterhouse painting epitomising lazy summer days with accompanying poem. I went to a show of his paintings at the Royal Academy in London a couple of weeks ago. Wonderful things, although that particular painting wasn't there. And I took a photograph of the moon in the south of Spain very like yours on Moon and Jupiter. Is yours recent? If it is I guess I saw Jupiter too. You've posted a lot of lovely things while I was gone.

Mari, Thanks for the "catchup." Happy for your venturesome travels. This skyscape, Astronomy Picture of the Day, was recorded on July 11 from Brittany in north western France. Welcome home!
