Outside My Window

outside my window
the setting sun
colors majestically brilliant
a beckoning twilight
songbirds singing ever so sweetly
dogwood in white blossoming array
such savor such savor at close of day.

Spring This day

...this mid day hour...in Tappan, New York


the bloom of Spring
this very day
white and golden jewels
in treasured array
crocus and daffodil
greet the warming sun
and lambent sky
hear the chorus
songbirds sing near by
behold these gifts
ever divine
the bloom of Spring
beauty sublime.
