Spring This day

...this mid day hour...in Tappan, New York


the bloom of Spring
this very day
white and golden jewels
in treasured array
crocus and daffodil
greet the warming sun
and lambent sky
hear the chorus
songbirds sing near by
behold these gifts
ever divine
the bloom of Spring
beauty sublime.

A Choral Stillness

a choral stillness in this morning hour new
the sounding of chimes be this wind's sweet melody
heard are the flutter of wings and the song bird call
at my window garden leaves and bloom in brilliant array
the petals and bud of clematis flower this day
the quiver outside my window I do feel
the crocus and daffodil a peeking green to reveal
this day of Winter with hints of Spring to come
this glory of light, the gift of bloom, the warming sun.

this moment wondrous
blessed with the breath of Creation
embraced by the light of the Sun
touched by a flower in bloom
winged petals of grace
innocent rapture
delicate passion
blissful call of beauty.

The Daffodil

the earth and wind song of the daffodil
beauteous be this gift of Grace and Will
the dance of petal's eternal bloom and light
blessed be such wondrous Spring delight.
