PRESENCE ...‎...Autumn Sky... strokes of color...words of haiku...

closing of day's light
sunset's breath of reverie
luminous glory.

hues of golden light
the grandeur of piety
praise be Creation.

Magenta Mood

A magenta mood
Glade of colors luminous
Heart's pulsing passion.

Rose Marie Raccioppi

Magenta, one of the first aniline dyes,
was discovered shortly after the Battle of Magenta, 1859, in northern Italy.
The color is named after the battle, alluding to the blood shed in the battle.
When painting this piece I felt I was taken back to that battle.

Luminous Majesty

A path upon these darkened waters
The luminous majesty reigns supreme
Radiant, ablaze with rapturous light
Enchanted are these depths of darkness
Revel I in the resplendent rising sun
Embraced within the wondrous firmament
And known be Glory known be Praise.
