F I R E...

FIRE, be it of the voice
passion, lilting sounds of soul
FIRE, be it of the dance
motion, gestures of grace, of power
FIRE, be it of the arts
line, structure, color, beckoning
FIRE, be it of the poet
words, utterances, form, being
FIRE ~ FIRE ~ FIRE
be it
                                            the Flame
                                            the I AM
                                            the Revelation
                                            the Eternal.

Quest and Vision

Sounds, gestures, in word and song
The heart to be known does ever long
What words to say, what melody to sing
What is it that wills each word I bring
'Tis this life's purpose to be heard
Quest and vision cast in many a word
Paint, color, line and form expressed
The call of the Muse with brush caressed
Understand SELF, THE WAY, I to define
The Creator's Call within this soul mine.

Opus 9

The call of color and light
Upon this surface pristine and white
Line, form, visions near and vast
Brush stokes of BEING cast
Pale, brilliant, hues, deep, dark
Surface holding passion, gentle, stark
Opus of tone, cadence sublime
Streams of spirit, Frames of Mind.
