This A Monet

This a Monet and this moment real
I in the embrace of this morning in May
The rhythmic sound of rain upon leaf and bough
Birds nesting and in flight outside my window
So sweetly they herald this day new
Lush green dogwoods and azaleas
Dressed in white flowering splendor
And then the sun's light
Morning gives its gift to noon
This a Monet and this moment real.
