The Creation of Adam is a section of Michelangelo's fresco Sistine Chapel ceiling painted circa 1511. It illustrates the Biblical story from the Book of Genesis in which God the Father breathes life into Adam, the first man. Chronologically the fourth in the series of panels depicting episodes from Genesis on the Sistine ceiling, it was among the last to be completed.

Oh sch beautiful words and image to honor the generations of women - bonded by birth or by nature and wisdom and life. My heart is heavy - as I watch my lovely Mom grow small - fade - I hold on desperately to her soft heart and image - her seasoned hands are cold and small - her blue eyes barely a sparkle - oh but the LOVE - this is eternal - I feel it from her every moment - it lives on - forever - and ever.
