"All Saints' Day, in the Roman Catholic Church officially the Solemnity of All Saints and also called All Hallows or Hallowmas, often shortened to All Saints, is a solemnity celebrated on November 1, in Western Christianity, and on the first Sunday after Pentecost in Eastern Christianity in honor of all the saints, known and unknown. In terms of Western Christian theology, the day commemorates all those who have attained the beatific vision in Heaven."

Bernie, This painting is ever so symbolic of the ever present circles of life. Beyond fear (death) there is faith (life).

All blessings to you,

Rose Marie

Rose Marie: It is symbolic of the circle of life and evidence of the grief we experience even when we are aware of the circle.

Exquisite painting - really worth 'the click' to enlarge it and see the details. Thank you!

Bonnie, I was so pleased to have connected with such a high res image. Your appreciation is equally pleasing. I agree, "exquisite."
