Is it as it seems
Perception and thought
What illusion have I brought
To this life and soul of mine
In this moment of past and present time
What am I yet blinded to see
That is deep within me
Shed these illusions that bind and hold
Free the pain and memories of old
This moment innocent of each yesterday
